I have been a long time player (level 93).

However, now my swing meter sticks and practically hits too many stuck errant balls and today cause me to hit too many very short swings. If this can not be resolved, I may have to quit this game.

The swing meter plays on your computer, not on WGT's servers.

If the meter is not smooth most, if not all, of the problem is at your end.

If your computer's CPU is busy doing tasks other than displaying the WGT game client page and playing the meter during your swing - there is nothing WGT can do about that.

Here are some things you need to consider/address at your end: Smooth meter - Optimizing your Windows computer

I have that problem at home too. It's because my laptop is connected through wifi, when I play I have to use the hard-wired desk top computer in my office at work.

Today's lot haven't got a clue what the word means. As for office workers I'm not even going there.

I surely don't play all day, I do when I have a little down time between duties and customers. So I knock out a hole or two when I can. It's the reason I can't do tournaments or join a country club. Most times a round of 18 holes can take up to three hours to complete. It's one of the things I like most about this game, you can just walk away from it or close it out and come back a little later and pick up where you left off. If I could I would love to become a regular member and join in on games and learn more about WGT and how to play better. I don't get to play real golf much any more, hopefully that will change soon.

But make sure the paycheck is there, it's owed to me.  Even tho I only worked 25 hours this week, you still owe me for 40, sure I played WGT 15 hours this week.  So what, I have to relax somehow from the grind of working.

    Sarcasm off.

So glad I retired 3 years ago.

This is my first office job. If I could, physically, I would still be working outside construction. As a matter of fact (and kind of a coincidence) the last job I worked on was a huge clubhouse at a very nice new golf club called Laughlin Ranch in Bullhead City. That was 10 long years ago.

(Taken out of the game by arthritis), BUT STILL IN THE WORK FORCE!!! I'm 58 and I've had it all my life, it just finally caught up with me.

Phil, I definitely know what you mean about today's "workers" .  My rheumatologist  told me I should be in a wheel chair, I showed that guy, I have a chair and it has little wheels on it. HA!!

That's a good one gary. Ya, the 30 year old guy that lives down the street who has a wife and 4 kids and drinks beer and smokes crack all day is "retired" too. He's on disability because he has depression. Maybe if he got a job, he wouldn't be so depressed, I don't know.

I manage an RV resort in Oregon now, and yes, I do receive a paycheck, meager though it may be I earn it, I work through the pain and keep going. Right now, there's three inches of snow on the ground and it's raining, so there's not a whole lot of costumers to take care of.  But I'm here and my little store is open and the mail will be delivered.

I should retire too someday, God knows I would make more money on ssid than I do running this place, but working is what I do. It's always what I've done. It's what I know.
