    NyneAyron:
I should retire too someday, God knows I would make more money on ssid than I do running this place, but working is what I do. It's always what I've done. It's what I know.

I retired almost 5 years ago and have been back to work over 3 1/2 years. In that 3 1/2 years I have seen maybe 25 people hired in the same position as me and all but 3 have been fired due to either poor performance or attendance or a combination of the 2.

NyneAyron, I hope you didn't take my post as being directed at you.  It wasn't directed towards anyone within this topic.  Today's generations just don't have the work ethics that the older generations had.

I think they are aptly named the gimme generation.  And we shall not go any further then that.

Today's lot haven't got a clue what the word means. As for office workers I'm not even going there.

Or Salesmen.  Sorry if any here were.  I know it was hard being one, but I never considered it work.

Living like a pauper until you retire has its benefits. Once that day comes when all you do is wake up and check the bank account for the automatic deposit,  you'll think you're living like a king. Worked for me when I took the new life 3 years ago. :-)

Two sides to that coin. Many of our generation (and the one before it) lived on a tight budget to ensure we could do things when we retired. But age creeps up so fast...health, interest, energy level. I basically send my kids money so they can enjoy themselves outside of their bills. I guess I live vicariously through them. I have no real interest in travelling now...should have done it when I was younger (mil deployments don't count...lol)

Perhaps unusually for me, getting back on topic.

However, now my swing meter sticks and practically hits too many stuck errant balls and today cause me to hit too many very short swings.

I think I have had most of what you describe happen, unless I'm reading it wrong.  The last of these, "short swings", was the most recent and the most frustrating.  I would start to pull back the meter for a shot and it would release on its own before I got to the power I wanted, deducting a shot without me clicking.  A drive would trundle maybe 3yds and a putt wouldn't move the ball at all.

I went back to my old mouse and this stopped happening.  That one gives me late clicks which was why I replaced it but on a choice of the two......  Even if I'm wrong about exactly what's happening with you, have you tried a different mouse?

Sounds like both mice are bad.

I have been a long time player (level 93).

However, now my swing meter sticks and practically hits too many stuck errant balls and today cause me to hit too many very short swings. If this can not be resolved, I may have to quit this game.

Have a look at my wall posts dated 3-4-6 January.

    Good luck

I know, but until I have a new one occasional late clicks are preferable.
