Maximizing XP passes

  You see it in the tournaments' list, Check the creation time of a new tournament. At first it will be PST, but "CC time" when you call it later - no time zone acronym though.

  Compare to the time left in the game client for further reference.

  Is it possible that the T list clock displays the viewers local time that the tournament ends?  I've never noticed that it first shows PST/PDT when I first create a tournament (not paying attention).  But our CC T list shows ending times for the current tournaments based on my home time zone (CST).

  It is possible but I'd rather have excluded that.

  But, your trans-atlantic example points in a different direction. Perhaps you might verify it in your CC forum?

  Would also be interesting to see if the WGT country setting or the real local time are referenced(?)

  I just created a CC Tournament ( 2 rounds X 7 days each) and when "published" it shows an ending time of my local time of creation on the open tournaments page.

  I will ask one of our trans-atlantic members about the time his list shows and post when I know something.

  You won't on 18 hole stroke games. That warning message is still there but doesn't mean anything anymore. When the CDP process changed a few updates ago, the very first stroke you take in the new day gets whatever points you have coming, including the points for an 18 hole round, whether or not you finish it.

  Fastest way to get full points-start the 18 hole unlimited and quit after the first stroke.  :-)

   

  @alosso-FYI, I did verify that AS games started after the new day will get the CDP points, even if you're not the first one to tee off (not the host.) This would also dispel the notion that disconnects lose passes as you're getting the points on the first swing.

  It is some real local time apparently.

  I asked a CC friend of mine who lives in Florida but has a European WGT flag. For the same tournament, his time display is six hours lower than mine - ET.

  I tried this last night as a test just for fun.

  Before I started my round:  4,282,563

  After 1 stroke it showed:  4,288,615

  After quitting the round after that stroke:  4,288,089.

  What I got was exactly what I would have expected for playing 1 stroke - my CDP for 1,459 days, my 10% CC bonus, and exactly one point for the one shot I took.

  Normally I play a 9 hole CC Tournament to conclusion for my CC Pass round and obtain around 6,400 CC XPs - in my test it was 6,047.

  If you start the 18 hole, 9 hole, 7 hole, 3 hole or 1 hole round you have to finish it to get the bonus based on the number of holes in the round.

  When club members check CC tournament times, it shows up in local time.  (as you registered with WGT, lol, if one moves from NY to CA, but doesn't change registration, will show as NY)

  With WGT tournaments, when it says ends January 8, to pick a date, it means it ends midnight US Pacific Time (Standard or Daylight, as is relevant).

  Don't look at those numbers next time, look at the ones shown on your CC page. I have definitely verified what I said, twice. Going to do it again right now.  :-)

   

  *edit- This is what happened.  My CC points before playing = 1394442. After the first stroke this changed to 1398788 for a gain of  4346. My CDP was 3811 so I gained an additional 535 XPs for making 1 stroke in the January 18 unlimited at PB.

  Check a third time after you quit the round - the CDP will remain but the result may have dropped. I experienced this like Edward did:

  Mine didn't. Nothing changed after I quit the round.
