And with that cue the Stones. Oh and the camera. Too early to figure the conundrum.

    gonfission:

I am only a short timer in here. You lifers hold the keys. You just haven't been given the slight nudge you need to use them. The design will not let you. You all have comradery around the world, you're not going to give up.

You're hooked, caught, landed. Sorry PT, no disrespect, just an opportunity missed, is lost. ;))) Fire away.

No matter how many stupid roll outs they do. I've read about quite a few blunders. It starts a whole new revolution, with triple the contributors.

Look at the "Honest" thread for a simple example of late. One guy, with one question, started a new evolution, revolution, if you will, with one post. Some of you wake up every morning, & log on hoping, NOT to see the name. That's part of the design.

When it happens, a time honored tradition in here, starts rolling like a snowball. The snowball then becomes, a freight train. Pretty funny, unless you're on the receiving end, I must say.

WTF are you even f*cking saying here. R U KIDDING ME.

Mr. Sigmund Freud over here. WTF! Cameras,,,,mega speed,,,,little nudges,,,,W.T.F.!

We are or were discussing - on-line gaming "engineers" that have one thumb up their a** and the other in their mouth, while at the same time TruGolf "marketing managers" are scheming up new ideas how to lure players into their new "traps" / "ideas" and SNAG players REAL money out of their pockets.

    gonfission:
I'll just wait for the slings and arrows now. Have at it. All in fun, eh?

Ohhhh! SHOTS FIRED!  All in fun, eh.  I just couldn't resist f*ckin with ya,,lol.

Gone fishin - please do. This is a on-line golf game that has more bugs, hooks and sinkers on one complete hole than what you have in your entire tackle box. If you don't have a tackle box than let me ask one question Sigmund - WTF did you name yourself "gonfission" if you don't fish? Ahhhh, juz f*ckin with ya man,,,lol.

I really do think you're seeing the inevitable EOL for this game in it's present format. They made a pretty good run at taking and using the wrong development platform and making a playable, for the most part, golf game.

Flash is done, shitty bare metal hosting over shitty congested connections is done, running depreciated browsers to play non-compliant games is done.

Are they working on a replacement, in a real development environment? Doubtful.

Whatever, don't care, don't spend money here anymore... neither should you.

I mean how crass is it that given the manner in which this game has been operating say just in the last week alone, WGT/TG wouldn't ever even think about say giving the entire player base a sleeve of Nike balls or Cally's, as gesture just to say, "Yep, been a huge pain, have a sleeve on us." ?

    Never happen..

    SHOTS FIRED!

    Salvo well received. Well done!!

    Mr. Sigmund Freud over here.

Freud's "Psychosexual Theory" is only modeled upon children, thus anything moving into adulthood, must have been caused as a child. WRONG!

He does not follow through into intermediate life, and old age studies.

Plus, he loved his mother & cocaine, a little to much.

While Erikson’s theory of psychosocial development shared some similarities with Freud's, it is dramatically different in many ways. Rather than focusing on sexual interest as a driving force in development, Erikson believed that social interaction and experience, played a decisive role, through out the entire life span.

Freud should no longer be used as the first step, he is only kept on as Einstein is, both Fathers of the respective industries.

Just so you know, I disagree with the time travel theory. One can go forward, and backwards, however one cannot return to the same time. The Philadelphia experiment most know of, was a good point in my favor.

The moment you leave + or -, the earth has moved. Your place in the time continuum, is now no longer there, to return to. That's why the ship in the experiment, had men fused into it's bulkheads. The ocean ungulates up & down, and the planet is still moving.

When the ship returned, it returned to where it (continuum) thought was the origination point. However the origination point was long gone. Some day I'm gonna submit a paper to the science dudes. See if I can get a free doctorate, with out all the expense, and nonsense.

If they reproduce the Higgs Boson particle, they will try it. Better get to work on my paper.

    juz f*ckin with ya man

And a good Feckin it was!

    Maybe he's a clever wordsmith

Now here's a man on the "SPLITTING" edge.

"Over" thinks I'm a few protons short of a whole atom. LOL. Jim however is a forward thinking man, that's not to say "over" is not short, of a few electrons.

The hydrogen bomb is a good example, as Jim points out. Initially  a fusion bomb has a two-stage design -- a primary fission, or boosted-fission component, and a secondary fusion component.

The high yield weapons you all may know about work like the sun. The sun is a massive ball of hydrogen, fission splits the hydrogen, fusion is the explosive force of the new splits fused into helium, hitting each other at extreme pressure & temperature. Proton, nuclei, all kinds of technical stuff.

Good light show though. Makes me all warm & fuzzy everyday.

with a job in the industry.

    Ya think?? LMFAO!! G1 Jim

    "angler".

Actually Over has the concept as well. STANGELY enough. The "Angler", angular paths of the particles are what make it all happen.

"Over" goes to the head of the class as well. :-))

Still need to grasp the camera thing though. There is something here, your eyes are not seeing. Your brain is...

For the detractors that think I'm a DOZEN atoms short, The proof of why this game is like it is, will reveal itself, ONLY, when all stop playing for 1 month. A couple thousand people immediately stopping pay & play, will send a strong message.

The question is, (they're betting on it) you won't ever do it. They will have to either shut the doors, or give you all a playable game on a semi consistent basis.

They will still mess with a few things to make the playing unpredictable, or it would get to boring.

At the very far reaches. Top Golf could have bought a floundering game, as a write off for their massive buildings that may not be doing well.

I'll be tied to the whippin post, for any further discussion, you can find me there

    I love this game.

I'm unable to play real golf. This is the closest to it I have found.

You just seem to be miserable.

Perhaps you should address that first?

WGT has many MANY faults, but dude...it is still an an awesome game that rewards you for great shots.

    Forget about your conspiracy theories.

    Flash is NOT done.

    Cheers,

    Peter

Geez some of you chaps really like to complain about this wicked game that we're lucky to be playing to free - it's each individual's decision whether or not they wish to contribute real money toward good quality balls/equipment. We don't need to be read the Munroe Doctrine excoriating WGT's engineers and the changes they decide to implement by some of the above posters in this thread. Life is about adjustments to changing environments/stimuli, those that are unable to do so will die off through process of elimination - not being able to advance higher up the chain. So just relax and be thankful, count your blessings mates! Cheers, your friend and mine, K!

In the UK Jim, it could be what used to be our national dish. Fission chips. With lashings of salt on and no vinegar thank you.
