    petervcpt:

    I love this game.

I'm unable to play real golf. This is the closest to it I have found.

You just seem to be miserable.

Perhaps you should address that first?

WGT has many MANY faults, but dude...it is still an an awesome game that rewards you for great shots.

    Forget about your conspiracy theories.

    Flash is NOT done.

    Cheers,

    Peter

If only we knew how to play them eh Pete?

Glad you like it, if you read the post you'll notice that I don't say anywhere I dislike the game, for what it is it's actually pretty good all things considered, which is something I say all the time.

As you're not sitting in the same room as me, nope don't see you, and I don't know you nor you I, keep your ignorant insults to yourself. In point of fact I'm quite the opposite of miserable.

As for Flash being done? It most certainly is, it's been neutered and re-branded as Animate, not really being supported all that well by Adobe either... Not sure why they removed AS2, but hey.. Why does Adobe do half the things they do?

Hard to call things that are actually happening and evident conspiracies, no? Are the connection and in game drops and disconnects imagined? I think not. Do they happen because you have cached web assets? Again, think not.

Many faults, but it's a great game. Rewards for great shots? Hmmmm, Take a poll as to how many 'great' shots have ended up in water, OOB or deep rough, or landed on fringe and rocket 60ft away. Yes, excellent reward... Thank-you.

It's a fun game, most of the time, not great by any stretch.

My opinion as to it being EOL is just that, my opinion, and as I'm not required to obtain your approval before stating it....well I won't go there.

You will however take note that I didn't at any point make any insulting comments or snide remakes as to why you aren't able to golf in real life? Just like that noted, because as you've no doubt noticed 'miserable' people are the ones who usually like to direct something negative and insulting at someone who's posts they don't agree with.

You have yourself an great and rewarding day there skippy.     ..i..,

*see Icon... restraint... I know right?  ;-)

    SHOTS FIRED!

    Salvo well received. Well done!!

    Mr. Sigmund Freud over here.

Freud's "Psychosexual Theory" is only modeled upon children, thus anything moving into adulthood, must have been caused as a child. WRONG!

He does not follow through into intermediate life, and old age studies.

Plus, he loved his mother & cocaine, a little to much.

While Erikson’s theory of psychosocial development shared some similarities with Freud's, it is dramatically different in many ways. Rather than focusing on sexual interest as a driving force in development, Erikson believed that social interaction and experience, played a decisive role, through out the entire life span.

Freud should no longer be used as the first step, he is only kept on as Einstein is, both Fathers of the respective industries.

Just so you know, I disagree with the time travel theory. One can go forward, and backwards, however one cannot return to the same time. The Philadelphia experiment most know of, was a good point in my favor.

The moment you leave + or -, the earth has moved. Your place in the time continuum, is now no longer there, to return to. That's why the ship in the experiment, had men fused into it's bulkheads. The ocean ungulates up & down, and the planet is still moving.

When the ship returned, it returned to where it (continuum) thought was the origination point. However the origination point was long gone. Some day I'm gonna submit a paper to the science dudes. See if I can get a free doctorate, with out all the expense, and nonsense.

If they reproduce the Higgs Boson particle, they will try it. Better get to work on my paper.

    juz f*ckin with ya man

And a good Feckin it was!

    Maybe he's a clever wordsmith

Now here's a man on the "SPLITTING" edge.

"Over" thinks I'm a few protons short of a whole atom. LOL. Jim however is a forward thinking man, that's not to say "over" is not short, of a few electrons.

The hydrogen bomb is a good example, as Jim points out. Initially  a fusion bomb has a two-stage design -- a primary fission, or boosted-fission component, and a secondary fusion component.

The high yield weapons you all may know about work like the sun. The sun is a massive ball of hydrogen, fission splits the hydrogen, fusion is the explosive force of the new splits fused into helium, hitting each other at extreme pressure & temperature. Proton, nuclei, all kinds of technical stuff.

Good light show though. Makes me all warm & fuzzy everyday.

with a job in the industry.

    Ya think?? LMFAO!! G1 Jim

    "angler".

Actually Over has the concept as well. STANGELY enough. The "Angler", angular paths of the particles are what make it all happen.

"Over" goes to the head of the class as well. :-))

Still need to grasp the camera thing though. There is something here, your eyes are not seeing. Your brain is...

For the detractors that think I'm a DOZEN atoms short, The proof of why this game is like it is, will reveal itself, ONLY, when all stop playing for 1 month. A couple thousand people immediately stopping pay & play, will send a strong message.

The question is, (they're betting on it) you won't ever do it. They will have to either shut the doors, or give you all a playable game on a semi consistent basis.

They will still mess with a few things to make the playing unpredictable, or it would get to boring.

At the very far reaches. Top Golf could have bought a floundering game, as a write off for their massive buildings that may not be doing well.

I'll be tied to the whippin post, for any further discussion, you can find me there

    Creeping Leaves

Here's my take on this WHACKED OUT post,,,

DAMN! I am not about to read this whole f*cking thing and try to make heads or tails from it. Seriously.

Best thing that's happen - we hit 4 pages of post.

In the UK Jim, it could be what used to be our national dish. Fission chips. With lashings of salt on and no vinegar thank you.

Oh man, gotta have the vinegar.  :-D

So now after every hole we have to 'X-out" on the scorecard. The "Continue" at the bottom of the scorecard DOESN'T WORK

What browser and OS combination are you using to play? Mobile maybe.

I have not had the continue  button not work in years and believe many have as well.

Jeff, if at times the Continue isn't active, run your mouse cursor about a half an inch below the scorecard in the black area.  You will get another continue to light up and that one will work.  It will be below the one on the scorecard.

I must admit I like a good downpour of malt vinegar on my deep fried beer battered cod "n" chips, and salt and heck some ketchup :).  Best eaten out of paper with only fingers, can of coke to wash it done and a great big belch at the end.....

Guess these days the national dish is chicken tikka masala?  Throw in some saag, pilau rice and several pints of lager it's a good way to feel real rough the next morning.  Better still all you do is blame it all on the curry:)

Reminds me, and some respect please, the Queen has been on the throne for 65 years today.
