    I for one would have traded the new course for some practice greens and a driving range.

    Just sayin'...

    We already have 4 beautiful HD full stroke courses, with another one soon coming, so what's the rush? For those who don't care about quality, and just want quantity, they can go to Shot and TWO, which keep dishing out slapdash new courses that look like sh*t in many ways.

    PLEASE, WGT, stay the course of the best possible HD quality content, whatever time it takes to develop it. Everything else is for the birds!

    Just played the CTTH version, probably try the 18 hole version this afternoon.  Graphics were okay, not WGT quality but a little better than TWO quality.  I carded 80.6 on my first run though, was it just me or did the meter seem much smoother.

    I hate to see WGT cheapen their product but maybe this is an alternative to taking 2 years plus to bring on 4 courses.  I'm okay with this if they keep developing the quality courses which I suspect will not happen.  The alligence with TruGolf would seem to be the end of the WGT development group in my mind.

    I do think that at some point and time, WGT is going to have to go to a fee based play, $5 a month or $39.95 per year, something like that.  They won't be able to generate enough revenue on ads and selling clubs, balls, etc. to operate.  I have no real problem with that if they address the meter issue.  I do think the green fee concept is not going to work here.

    One more (timely) thought on this change from a more legalistic perspective....

    Look at what has happened JUST THIS WEEK with the U.S. Government shutting off access to some of the OFFSHORE Poker/Gaming sites.

    Even before the new "Greens Fees" were added, there were 2 key differences (probably more) that WGT has from those other sites:

    1.  WGT is ONSHORE - located inside the U.S. - and assumedly PAYING its share of taxes from revenue;

    AND

    2.  There is no "Cash Out" - no way for participants to physically carry away $$ from this game.

    Leads me to SPECULATION (clearly marked as such).....

    This move with the Greens Fees MIGHT in some way have to do with insulating and differentiating WGT further from association with the "G" word.

    Just something I thought of.

    People want new courses, in 3 or 4 months we may have 7 stroke play courses, albeit with 1 costing 100 credits a go. IMO 6 quality HD courses with 2 new each year is enough, don't you think? There is all these complaints about the course costing $1 a go, but it is optional.

    Great job WGT!

    Truegolf could take a lesson from WGT in quality. I think this is a step back not a leap forward. Keep bumping the price to play and risk looseing members.
