    StaticPappy:

I never said they took anything away..YET!

What I said is that making new things is good but charges per play "when not gambling" are NOT!

I also said clubs an balls should be enough spent by users who don't gamble.

Said that I would not pay a per play green fee.

Then i suggest that if they need money for development of game from the users.. they use a fair flat rate one time fee on all courses current and future. Anything above what I said an I will quit playing and find another something to waste my time and money on. You are all free to set your own limits... isn't freedom nice?

If the funds from ads sponsors an gambling wont pay WGT monthly bills then they are messed up and the game will just close one day. Hoping they care what we think and that they are managing the the store so we all have a future here.

So again thats the point and if you read it all i did not contradict myself. Better that you worry about what WGT will do next.. than to pick apart my opinion. But waste your time an money as that too is of lil concern to me.

Now that is done I say another lame comment or 3 about how WGT has not taken anything away. I have to say that is correct but would still add a "yet" to be realistic.

Nope what they did was use your lil brain against you. They pay folks like me to come up with ways to use you against you. And each other.

They dont have to make you buy the course.. Jealousy within a human will do that. Just as jealousy makes you want the putt an driver of a legend.

Once you start thinking of ALL THE OTHER players that are "if they like lame graphics" paying to play the course they got ya. You cant let a dollar stand between doing what the other kids are doing now can ya. If you can resist then you gotta be the cheap bastage in their eyes and that you cant stand either now.... OR CAN YOU? They are betting heavy that you won't!

One last thing.. if the graphic of WGT was at EA standards I would not have played more than it takes to evaluate the game. The graphics "in a browser" are class A! I own more beautifully done games but they are console and installable so we cant compare those to a browser game.

So really I am worried a lil on two levels. one is that they are going to start up a log in fee next an just totally ruin the value of the game. Secondly that the beauty of the game will be compromised.

If either of these happen the future of WGT will grow quite dark IMHO.

    peace clams

Pins, Pins, Pins....!!!!!! If we could just move those pins it would be like playing new courses. I haven't seen nor will i bother playing this course from all the feedback i have seen. Just let us move those pins and have 2 courses a year! This is a bad road to go down!

P.S. I will pay a $1 a round at oakmont if i can move that pin on #9!

WAKE UP.  You hope they don't put a green fee on any other course yet you are supporting them by paying to play the worst course they have ever put on this site?  That makes absolutely ZERO SENSE!!!

Well if that don't put it simply for the simple there is just no hope.

I been finding all the answers to the questions I've had since I joined a month ago in these forums. As such I have also seen lots of complaints about everything... All I had said about anything was a general hey yall lets play post an such. Game is great thats why I stayed an started spending money.

Not sure how long one must be member here before they are allowed to form an opinion about what id good for the game players or company without being deemed a whinny noob. If time matters I've only been a month but during that time I would have to be TRON to spend more hours in a day playing. I bought clubs an such as a way to avoid paying rent.. lol.

This whole mess of a new addition in no way changes what WGT was doing right before.

They make the price outrageous then lower to create false value trick is not cool. But I am more afraid that this is just the beginning of the end of a beautiful game.....

and any playing of this NEW course I fear are supporting the destruction of a good thing and not an improvement of any kind. Well any kind except what ever profit they do make off those willing to pay for a lesser product!

    Peace clams

You have many beautiful ctth courses that are a real draw. The 4 courses available now are brilliant.

While I appreciate you bringing trugolf to the table bringing in new courses,  it really won't effect my WGT experience one way or another.  I may play the cartoon courses a time or 2 for novelty, but with the lack in quality compared to HD photos currently available.

I do appreciate you are trying to appeal to masses though, please dont get discourage and keep working on the platform that built WGT

O.K. here's mine....Please don't do this. I am a golfer at heart , deeply at heart. I truly love and respect the game of golf. I have other options, but I am here. I am here for a reason ; here  for several reasons.  WGT , you are that something different. That something very unique. In my opinion, the very best sales tactic ever is to not  "dog" the competition by advertising their negative aspects, similar to a political smear ad , but rather to offer the competition right beside your's showing very simply why your product is superior to their's. WGT is right now a prototype Cadillac soon before it became a Cadillac. Just like Bollox mentioned, there is really big potential here. Please do not fall into the get rich quick type scenario. Those who succeed  simply arrive early , stay late and take NO shortcuts. I am more than willing to go the long  haul here. I am more than willing to wait for this product to evolve and develop the original WGT way.

I'm so PLEASED there's two new courses coming in 2011 - congressional and RoyalStGeorges - FANTASTIC! Well done WGT

I can't believe all the FROTH about the TruGolf game - either play it or don't. It doesn't make any difference to the rest of WGT. Why all the HYSTERIA?

I thought the new course was fine. Looks better then Tiger. Sure it's not photo but it is good looking and it is fun to have new courses to play. I'm excited for new places to play.

From a 2 year member...sir , yes it does. It absolutely changes the biggest aspect of what they were doing right and that is being unique and superior above the rest.
