Watch for the GREEN FEE to be taken even though the game is not played.

    EMAIL sent to WGT :

I have only completed / played 2 MPC games on this course. Just now I went to play my 3rd and the credits where taken even though the game never started. The opponent backed out 2 times from the challenge. The 1 time my credits/green fee's were returned the 2nd time they were not credited back. I watch my credits closely and seen this right when it happened.

This seems like it may be a problem when having to anti up 1st before play. I would like my 100c returned and will post anymore that happen.

    Thanks YOTADOG

With green fees now. WTG will be out of business before long because not many people will pay for it.

Everyone is complaining about the graphics, but my biggest problem would be hitting shots from that Bermuda rough....

(save to mention, virtual putting, on virtual greens, with virtual grain..)

Totally absurd. If we are going to pay “green fees”..lol, then at the least make the course a WGT HD course.

DON"T YOU PEOPLE REALIZE WHAT IS GOING ON???  THIS IS THEIR WAY OF INTRODUCING US TO PAY PER PLAY OR HAVE A MONTHLY OR YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION????

THE WRITING IS ON THE FREAKIN WALL!!!!!!!!

Think about it.  They introduce us to a pay per play on a computer generated golf course for a very unreasonable amount of money only to upset the masses.  Their solution: eliminate said crappy golf course, continue with their beautiful HD version but now they will settle for 25 credits per 9 holes and 50 credits for 18.....or whatever amount they come up with.  It's just like when the oil companies wanted to get gas prices higher, a natural disaster comes along and they spike it up to $5.00 a gallon and once the disaster is over the price will drop, but nowhere near what it was before the disaster and it will continue to rise until it hits that 5.00 mark again.  Once something has a high price on it, consumers feel they are getting a deal once the price has been lowered and in the case of WGT how can any of us sit back and feel comfortable paying ANY amount of money for something that we currently play for FREE??

All that can be said here is. The nail has been hit on the head

WGT has partnered with TruGolf to add their golf simulator courses to WGT.com. These are high-quality full stroke-play courses from around the world. TruGolf is the core team behind the popular Links PC golf game.

Basically Links LS - 2003 course with a WGT interface. I have 6 gigs of links courses.

The WHOLE Links 2003 is online and available to download for $6.95
I won't say where here cause I don't want WGT upset, but a search engine will work .

    IMHO..just don't pay to play.

Like Nancy Reagan likes to say

    "Just Say NO"

Give us more pins, give us shot shaping, give us stance control, move the tee markers around on the tee boxes, give us more methods of play, best ball/alternate shot comes to mind, find and fix the infamous WGT snap hook meter glitch (simple things) etc.   Basically give us more ways to enjoy the amazing graphics you have.

I'm still wondering who from wgt thought that we would buy this?

Never has anyone been so wrong since Neville Chamberlain walked down the steps off the plane clutching the Munich Agreement in 1938 "claiming peace in our time."

With bpb, st a, kiawah and oakie all available in stunning hd graphics and all free,....we'z somehow gonna cough up $1 per 9 holes on a course which looks like it was created by rolf harris and his magic pens.

    Sorry WGT.....EPIC FAIL.

Last I checked, a sleeve of Callies was 3 bux...I'm probably spending $30 a month on virtual golf balls...
