    dedBuNNy:
Why would a multi go to all the trouble of renting countless clubs when they know damn well which ones will give them the best results? Why waste the credits

The rentals are FREE when you level up...

In no normal, sane world can shooting 13 under on the front and 3 over on the back not be considered suspicious. That just doesn't happen.  Sure a round can turn a bit sour but not to that extent.

Even Mr. Iron Bones never saw a difference like that, maybe it was a top player who played the front 9 before letting their other half loose on the back 9.

This is why I try and stay outta the forum, bunch of dickheads running around wearing the 'self appointed game police badge's from a cereal box' ... lmfao

Have you ever thought of switching to decaf?

You have to be the most uptight Canadian I've ever met. Pretty much everyone else I've met from our neighbors is always really chill and easy to get on with. I guess there's always an outlier. :-)

5 birdies and 4 eagles on any nine some shooting no matter who it's by.

Maybe it was from one of the two players from a CTTH game I played earlier today. I thought my score was pretty good but I've a long way to go to catch these two guys/guyesses. Knowing how hard I had to work to get my score, I can only harbour dark thoughts when someone can put the ball 1/1.5 ft from the hole on nine consecutive holes.

I'm open to conspiracy theorists or fantasists but preferably would like to hear a rational and logical explanation from someone who really knows the game because quite honestly it's beyond my understanding.

♫  "Dooroo roo roo, dooroo roo roo..." ♫

After teeing off on the 10th hole the OP ran out of the particular brand of ball that they had started with. The pop-up appeared offering the aforementioned player the option of purchasing more of the same. Unfortunately, at the time, they did not have enough credits to do so and played the remainder of the round with rocks.

    Imaginatively yours,

Hey mate~Those scores are a total of the best scores ever scored on each particular hole.  Not a cumulative score for one 9 Hole outing.

After you play it will list your best score over a nine hole knock and than if you click it will give you a lower number which is your total for best cumulative score ever taking in account the  lowest number you ever scored  on each hole summed together.

    Cheers-GD

Thanks GD for that. Glad it didn't have a dark meaning though it would seem they are comparing apples to pears somewhat. But all is clear. Thanks again.

    Phil,

As a new player in 2011 I played a lot of CTTH when I first joined WGT because I had no clue what a CC was.  So I learned the game getting absorbed in nothing but CTTH play.  After a while you get to know how to hit every single shot on the various courses and was consistently hearing the heartbeat on every shot.  A stroke game varies way more than CTTH.  There are CTTH pros on this game who are High Level Hack Tiers (Levels above 90s and still Hack) because they never played an entire Ranked Round yet but have thousands of CTTH under their belt.  They are deadly to play against in this limited format.

When I first found Stroke Play I was clueless on how to play that game format as there are so many ways to play a hole.  The people who brought me out of my CTTH existence were the members of my first CC, The Georgian.  The Georgian is a wonderful CC full of many mentor type players.  One of them is OLDMXR, Bob.  Bob is a STELLAR guy and WGT player and he helped me any time I had a question.  Stewart4100, now owner of Championsgate CC, was also a member of The Georgian while I was there.  Stewart is another scholar of the WGT game who I thank to this day for teaching me the flop shot via using the "flop line".

If there are any CTTH pros out there who fear the Stroke game I recommend they contact Sue Sommers, owner of The Georgian, and ask her about joining her CC.  They welcome new players and only ask you "try" to play your first WGT round of the day using a CC Pass.  Sue just wants a player to be connected with the "team player" concept and to realize that her CC is there for her members.  People who gripe about The Georgian either were never there as a member or were a problem member and got tossed.  The Georgian is a superb CC  for all tier players of WGT Golf.

So yes...there are CTTH pros here on WGT who never play the other formats and they are Level 90 and above.  They are deadly accurate BUT that's all they know, how to hit a few shots in this crazy game.  I know...because I was one of them (and I played with Starter Clubs and the free Starter Rock Balls).

    Peace,

    Paul

    @pmm711

Great post. Thanks for taking the time to post it. It gave me some insights I didn't have before.
