I know this is going to be hard, and possibly a disapointment to some, but I think I'm going to keep this short-I know,Thats not like me huh?

I know we mostly all pay,and therefore have some consumer rights, but that doesn't excuse rudeness now does it?If I was in charge I would be really offended by some of the comments from the customer base,i.e,the people who pay a small amount (in relation) to take advantage of a huge investment made by,and underwritten by Wgt.So how about we all just try to rub along together and appreciate the fact that we still have what we came here for? (With more to come-wheres the problem there? one might ask)

I do not for a moment suppose that many people know what is just around the corner and whilst it is entertaining to cry conspiracy, perhaps instead,a little patience would be more melifluous and ultimately more rewarding?

With regard to the new pay per play course, one could be forgiven for supposing that only those who wished to pay, would in fact play, whilst the rest of the Wgt population just got on with their games on the current courses-without emptying their rhetoric needlessly.

Anyway,I suppose I will catch some flack by those given to lamprophony, but there it is,perhaps they would be better served by doing so without mistaking me for someone who gives a damn.

All in all,is all we all are.

    Lizzie xx

i just wanted to say you guys have produced the best online game but not only that you are willing to listen to players input which is very uncommon with some of these big businesses. alot of them i know of not mentioning names are very happy to take your  money yet dont offer professionalism like the wgt team.i know members complain of lack of courses etc i think the solution to this like many have said is vary the pin placements it would certainly make it a whole new ball game. other than that im willing to continue contributing my $ as i will admit im hooked on what you guys have produced. As for online game of the year i rate this as #1 for the next 20 years. keep up the fantastic work

    cheers

I have to believe that the only reason that the trugolf courses cost anything is that trugolf wants them to. I don't think WGT has anything to do with it. I also don't think WGT gets a single cent from the greens fees charged and i'm also sure that WGT had to pay some initial price just to start negotiating with trugolf. Some how i think WGT was more interested in making this deal than trugolf with the greens fees as evidence of that.

I know one thing for sure, no one working for this site is making millions and i doubt anyone is making 100,000 either, so this site is no cash cow as of yet. in fact you would have to be a fool to think so.

in the end as with anything you vote with your wallet as does every customer and the business will do what they can to entice customers to part with their hard earned money. thats how the free market works.

    Hi Mr Nelson

Now I am assuming you are the  top dog with The WGT Company.

And for that I would like to commend you for coming on here personally and replying to all your customers especially with so much negative feedback.

Secondly I will take my hat off to you and your team for producing a truly remarkable and enjoyable on line golf game. In fact I would go as far to say it's  the best one out there.

Now to make sure you can get your head through the door I would like to add my tuppence worth.

I played CTTH at Cabo Del Sol and to be fair I enjoyed it probably more than some of the other's on here but I do agree with the majority that the graphics are a little sub-standard compared to your other courses with HD.

However I realise you have to make money as you are in business but surely you have got it wrong to ask your customer's to pay for a sub standard graphics course.

If neccessity dictates why not charge say 50 credits to play a true HD course like Congressional rather than asking for 100 for Cabo Del Sol.

Now to make my position absolutely clear I do object to pay to play full stop but I realise if I must pay then I would not object to paying to play the upmarket HD courses.

This to me would make more sense.

Let me finish on a positive note Mr.Nelson.

I appreciate you listening to your customer's by producing these courses in a hurry but surely quality is a better option than quantity.

However I do concede there may be some out there just grateful for more choices of courses at this moment in time.

I really love this game and what I am saying is yes I might considering paying for the top graphics courses but not 100 credits maybe 25 to 50 and it should be unlimited play for at least 24hours.

Once again thanks for a great game and lets hope you and your team keep it that way.

                                                        Bjorn.

Nice to hear a statement from WGT about the state of the business.

It is insane how many people equate losing a couple of balls to WGT being greedy and making tons of money.  I am sure that the President of WGT gets a good laugh at that as he tries to figure out how to make this entity profitable and pay the bills that come around each month.

I would call on WGT to do one thing.  Immediately stop the MPC and the Ready Go's that will be construed as a form of gambling.  The FBI shut down 3 poker web sites last week due to online gaming by US citizens.  By doing this you are complying with the law and we all avoid the risk of clicking on WGT and seeing a FBI warning.

The game is great but the TruGolf option is not good.  I'm a businessman, I understand the reason but it won't work here, you have spoiled the members by giving them a free game in HD and now you introduce a pay for play in standard def.  Think though the process and I am sure that you will figure out that the revenue stream from this partnership does not equal the loss of good members and ill will.

Thanks for weighing in MR, always nice to see your presence in the forums.  Can't wait to play on Congressional and R.S.G., the HD courses you create are miles ahead of the competition.  I will retract my statement from the other thread about getting rid of the TruGolf courses.  I'm personally not interested in them, but if it is making WGT $ then by all means!

btw, could you give us some teaser photos/videos of RSG on your blog posts like you did for st andrews?  Enjoyed those last year.

I'm really not sure what all the fuss is about. A lousy game of pinball costs a dollar these days...

As I am writing I am at Cabo Del Sol, came on as player number 2 and paid my Green Fee. The player #1 quit game before it started and he had also paid. Now I was left standing alone without a possibility to play. I have now been waiting for another player to play with and after 10 minutes still nobody willing to play Cabo Del Sol.  How do I get my money back??????????  MY only option is to quit now. Paid my Green Fee but no play. VERY UNFAIR!
