  Southern England Links is a very active global club, both in club comps and in our proboards forum. We often have over 100 members playing single events, going into the 3rd page of leaderboards at times.

  We have a team who work hard creating numerous events, not just owners and Directors but members run their own competitions also. Listed below are activities within our club and just a brief explanation ;

  Strokeplay League : 5 divisions with 21 fixtures over 3 week period.

  Order of Merit : 3 month Tours with various events to earn OOM points

  SELEX Cup : Series of 21 events culminating in finals month in December.

  Stroke/CTTH Cups : These double up with our league games, using challonge site.

  CTTH league : Running alongside our 3 month tours.

  Inter CC team : Over 50 members and we have 3 teams in Paulfinns World Cup.

  Double Elimination Matchplay : Head to head knockout cup.

  Weekend League : Strokeplay over weekend with points for finishing positions.

  Pairs Comp : Strokeplay where partners scores are collated, again league created.

  Last Member Standing : Using WGT weeklies...worst score goes out each week.

  Premium Credit League : Small credits  and this is a handicap.

  Monthly Cup series : Strokeplay, small credit entry.

  Theres more but above is the main events. The most important thing is having fun, nobody has to play everything, in fact it would be a struggle to do so.

  Our proboards forum is always buzzing. We have sections put aside for shot replays (good or bad), help for new members (tips and guides), sponsorships and donations (hundereds of sleeves have been given away) and basic general discussions.

  What you see is what you get.

  Been around WGT for over 5 years and this is as good as it is.

  Would luv half a dozen or so Aussies to jump on board, November 2017 will see the rise of " THE ASHES " Series.

  I've been around WGT now for 7 years and I have never seen a more well run club with member participation at unbelievable levels. 

  This is a club that it is impossible not to improve your game at, all the time keeping the focus on fun!

  I joined in November only 3 months here and just wanted to say the guys are great ready to help any one my game has improved a lot droped my scores by 15 .they have a chat and are always helpful as soon as you ask anything. Post on forums and your questions answered with in minutes at most a few hours. 

  They don't ever put any pressure on you just play and have fun.never going to leave this club.

  For info anyone wishing to join, as well as our live chat (Shoutbox), we also have teamspeak.

  Its for those wishing to use it, a generous member has paid for it, those who dont like it well then nobody here forces you. Its just another great option which helps push this club onto an even more social side.

  With 91 members entering our 4 round Winter Major it boiled down to 2 members (Nico and Grace07) sharing the spoils, but WGT countback meant the winner was Nicozandberg with a fantastic round of 57 in the 4th round, in tough conditions.

  1st Round : Chambers, Low winds, very fast greens

  2nd Round : Pebble Beach, Moderate winds, Tourny greens

  3rd Round : Chambers Bay, Moderate winds, Tourny greens

  4th Round : Pebble Beach, Heavy winds, Champ greens.

  This CC never ceases to amaze me, It is simply Awesome, Brilliantly run and being constantly surrounded by superb People and Players who are only too willing to help out in any way, Shape or Form it just blows me away..

  Our 3 week league season has just started this week, its the last season in our 13 week Winter Tour and again the activity has been fantastic

  As typing there`s still 24 hours to go and 97 members have posted a score.

  All our events are like this, second to non activity with great web forum banter , what more could you want.

  We dont just state it so you join then find out its a lie, we can prove it.

  With an Inter cc squad of over 50 members then this is the place to come if you love organised club events, which we have numerous, or love playing matchplay against other clubs.

  We have 3 teams in the World Cup which is running from community organised events.

  Friendly club, banter on our proboards forum is first class. We also have teamspeak for those interested in chatting instead of typing.
