    LuckySkreet:
For months and months,  Ole' Harvey has contributed MANY useless posts, rants, and "WallBangers"  about his moderation and conspiracy theory  issue with WGT Mods

Firstly, simple name calling is not required, but to be honest CT has been treated unfairly in my eyes, and a number of other players who have been moderated. The lack of consistency in both terms and length of punishment has been highlighted, with little or no comeback. That is not justice.

    LuckySkreet:
"Secondly...why continually complain in a public way?  After 6+ years of experience, the OP should know wgt doesn't care about his gripes. "

In essence WGT does not listen to the forum users - that is based on historical lack of action to complaints. Improvements are sporadic and bypass feedback from the community and even personal emails from the company....yet they push ahead with their own agenda. That is fine of course, the employees must do their jobs, but what is the purpose of asking in the first place - after all there appears to be no accountability and there is certainly no transparency,

So why do forum users vent, question, suggest......because it is the only avenue to do so. And in my opinion, everyone is entitled to do that and in real time (bearing in mind those very loose guidelines) and then and only then, can other readers formulate an opinion.

Edit: As for my "on-going forum barrage", bear in mind many of my posts are in the CC forum, where in any given competition, especially comps run by me, this would probably number 10% of your overall posts. Active yes, but hardly a barrage.

"In regard to "Harvey Wallbanger"............ For months and months,  Ole' Harvey has contributed MANY useless posts, rants, and "WallBangers"  about his moderation and conspiracy theory  issue with WGT Mods..."

Tons of examples of how arbitrary the T&Cs are applied. Otherwise, blatherers like you would be banned. You could certainly debunk my stance...if you ever had any examples to support your slags. But then...2nd tier flame baiters don't operate that way.

ps: for months and months I've contributed many?...I see trolling is alive and well.:)

    +1000!

But, they DID accept one forum approach to fault management from us:

    The users' workarounds!

I was utterly amazed  to see them copied by mods during the last year!

I interrupt this thread to make an important announcement.  WGT wants us to know this thread is...

    I'll add...

If I make a bad shot, and I make many, I usually had "an out"...

    1)  I could have held down the mouse button when I saw the meter begin to jump...BUT NO...I let go and had to pay the piper.  Holding down the mouse button until the swing is finished gives you another chance.  Sometimes the mind doesn't react fast enough.

    2)  I could have calculated better instead of just winging it

    3) I could buy balls instead of ALWAYS playing free rocks.  Rocks make the game play a wee bit more "erratic"...NO F-ing way it's me.

    4)  I could drink less beer during play

    5)  I could drink less vodka during play

    6)  I could get the sand out of my eyes and actually fully wake up before I enter into an alt-shot and embarrass the hell out of myself.  Those who play alt-shot with me understand what I just said.

    7)  I could drink more beer during play.  Kersh says this works for him.  LMFAO

    8)  I could drink more vodka during play.  Just take my word for it.

    9)  I could take Mags' advice more often and plan my shots better.  He knows me too well and understands why I don't follow his advice.

    10)  Ask questions.  All of the better players on here are so willing to help.  It's great to see these guys and gals are there for you if you need them.  I'm sure they shake their heads a lot but they always have "constructive advice".

And because David Letterman would sue me if I stopped at 10...

    11)  Refer to #7 & #8 above...OR smoke a bowl or two first.  Even if it doesn't work it sure makes play a whole lot more fun.  AND...let's not forget...that's what it's all about...FU & N

---It's an Internet Golf Game Forum---............... what would you expect?  A  WGT/TOPGOLF Forum Court that hears and rules on member grievance? LOL.....  so they can rule on which intentionally misspelled profanity is acceptable?  Which loosely acceptable photo is  deleted or not?  Who is and is not a troll? Who high jacked a post or not?  Who's moderation sentence gets commuted? --It's an Internet Golf Game Forum--

Here's your bottom line........      WGT throws out a written "User Guideline" and/or  "Terms of Service Statement"...........with the usual ethical standards BS and a marginal outline regarding posting etiquette....blah blah...blah...       Given this basic information, wgt tenure and experience "WE" all have a pretty damn good understanding of what the rules "ARE".  By the same token, "WE", myself definitely included, constantly walk that fine line, pushing the limit of the rules.  Thus....."we" who push those limits should really not cry "unfair", "not my fault", "the Devil made me do it"......... we should embrace and accept that sooner or later, we'll get busted.   I've no problem with anyone getting busted, myself included, just don't whine about it afterwards, in particularly if you routinely walk that fine line.

In regard to transparency......  exactly what are you asking?   A forum rule book with associated penalties?  A list of acceptable words and examples of intentional misspellings?   Remember----  It's an Internet Golf Game Forum----    is a sentencing handbook really necessary?
