I have problems with my meter speeding up and slowing down as well. It has to do with your connexion. If it's weak, it affects the swing. Whenever I play with a weak signal, my score is higher.

As for wind, any spin you put on a ball amplifies mishits. Also, on some shots a crosswind is more influential than others. There's a par 3 at St Andrews, back pin placement around 169 yds. Typically, that's between a 5 (175) and 6 (162) iron for me, but neither comes close to reaching in a L>R crosswind. I can aim wayyyyy left and if I don't ding it, I end up 30 or 40 ft to the right or left, depending on the miss. If I select a 6 iron with no backspin, it runs through the green. A 7 comes up forty feet short. It's my second most hated hole on the course, after the 17th. Rarely hit the green with my approach there no matter the wind or my club selection.

LOL PT........     Naaa...you missed nothing, it's the usual Colon'ettes  scurrying to defend Harvey...

LMAO. All you are doing by this constant tirade is making yourself look like a first grader doing his best to be the classroom bully.

To the OP, my offer is still there, but based on his posting history, I have my doubts he really wants to improve without putting in the time or effort. It is always easier to blame anything but yourself.

its does make me laugh a lot when i see u "signed up 6yrs ago...blah blah blah"....i signed up only played for a few weeks then went off to play settlersonline.....only come back to wtg about 4-5months ago now...:)..

despite all the replies i have had to my posts not one has ever managed to explain the anomalies i post about....

i know use a putting calc from young46...and although i check every putt for any elevation and check i using the right meter (15,25,30,50 etc..)...for no reason at all a few putts just stop short (by quiet a large margin ) i cannot see a reason for this as all other putts go the right distance....2+2 should always = 4 not like here sometime it = 3.5.....

thing is instead fo answering this type of question all i get is insulted and abused by a select few every time.....who probably think they funny but are instead just juvanlie

If when you are playing a round with moderate to heavy winds, ST Andy's Moderate is other courses heavy do you allow for/factor in headwind for your putts, That could be why some of your putts are coming up short

    Ken

+5% It works yet again :-)

As I keep telling you Paul, It "never" fails me. Paul with my help I'll get you to Tour Champion In no time! ;)

Not sure who you are referring to, nor do I really care. But your childish name calling is pathetic, like I said, not dissimilar to a first grader. The amusing thing is you keep going.....must be a maturity thing....or lack thereof.

And yes that is my opinion, but I am sure a lot of the community think exactly the same. Some people need to be ridiculed, others like yourself do a perfectly good job of that ny themselves.

I am out of this thread.

Once more a discussion thread gets turned round by you LS to be used to insult Colin.

You claim he trolls, well he seems to comment on a lot whereas you must troll daily to see what and where he has posted.

Whats your beef with him, i remember this going way back and your still at it

Has he snapped your crayons ?

Now its a pity you cant just take your coats off round the back of the bin sheds and have done with, but in saying that i feel Colin has walked away from it anyway, and good on him.

P.S If its hypocrisy the issue then show me a fella who aint like that now and again, all are, just takes some realising it.

Skreet, you have followed Colin around for many months. Not contributing to the current forum discussion in any way but merely to launch personal attacks on him. As he no longer posts as frequently due to an over enthusiastic schoolmaster waving his big stick, you now give out your infantile verbals to other forum members purely to cause disruption, as once again you have made no comment whatsoever on the forum topic. That is the epitomy of a troll and hopefully as soon as the mods awake from their torpor, you'll get your comeuppance.

Courtesy of Wiki: In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtrl//ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal, on-topic discussion,[3] often for the troll's amusement.
