  Hi boots, Rule 6 states that any game result not registered will be classed as a half (draw) i know that all games ideally should be played but it would save you guys alot of grief if this rule stood it annoys me to see guys having a go at you when its thier fault for not playing in the first place. If u commit then play simples.

  well thats where I'm running into trouble because I am seeing the result here but it is not uploading to the website and I think the website needs to be refreshed so I'm kind of waiting on Slor to be around so I can explain to him what's going on with what I am seeing. I'm totally backed up so no worries on loss of information.....when it goes to the next integer it's registering it as a zero ....

  Thanks for the clarification you posted Bootsie,thats all i was after, the reason i queryed it in the first place was because you asked me to forfeit the game when we were still willing to play the match before the extended deadline unlike electra who stated they were not willing to play the match. now i know it doesnt affect my team i will draw a line under it  and thank you for the work and hassle you have to put up with. i was just protecting my teams interest as a captain should do.   thanks again Darren

  Get over it everyone. My team had a situation where 1 of our opponents didn't show and the score ended up at 2-2. We could've been 3 from 3 if we won that. You don't see any of my team complaining. That's life i'm affraid. Everyone has lives away from online golfing and things don't always go to plan. It's not like we're playing for a million dollars.

  Upton Manor Gators V BLS....

  They won 3-0.....one unplayed match we will take the "blame" for (ie forfeit)...but the other, from our perspective, should be vice-versa, as the player consistently made himself available (inc this eve)....

  I'd always assumed that "forfeits" etc - did not count.... and that only games played counted....

  It doesn't really matter.... and I would like to compliment the BLS team cap'n (BBB) and their players for conducting themselves in the best spirit of the game.

  i will go along with what RYJA suggested after considering the circumstances..i will forfeit the  game ...between laraposa and bigrednev...so that both   teams can move forward and prepare for  the next stage....

  thanks RYJA  for your hard work and dedications and also to your team members for putting up a good show.....one things for sure is that we gain from making friends and enjoy meeting honourable people like you...have a good weekend

  To date it has been played a single match between andyall and doeyboy. I tried to contact the captain-steveking (wall), but does not answer me ..... I do not know how to fix the match .... I have no news on ...... 4 matches
  The captains are important to solve these problems but if there is no'communication ....

  
  

  I have gotten a message that Club Integrity has withdrawn from the competition as their captain left the club and everything (disintegrated?).

  The points difference counts in the standings.... a little. Your strength of schedule counts a lot more. The league does not give forfeits, only you as the opponent can give it.

  Yes, the league does not give forfeits. If you want to give one to your opponent, fine, but for our perspective you have no moral obligation to do so.

  Boots...respectfully, trying to use a word play on this thread isn't representative of  what happened.  "Late match" in this case was a "Scheduled" match to be played on a Saturday evening.  The player (Knucklewoods) from Bery's Electra was a "no show".  We were told that simply not playing the match would not be counted against us in the standings, but it appears it will be, even if it goes down as a zero.

  We would have rather played the match and lost, then not played the match and have it count against us in the standings through no fault of our own.  Our player (Brindille) showed up and theirs didn't, but we didn't want to ask for a ruling because you stated it would not count against us.  As it turns out, this was not entirely accurate.  That was the point DevilDaz was making and why he asked for a ruling.

  zero from zero is zero .......forfeiting the game simply cleared the competition....your team won that round still. What does matter is if you scored in a round and tied with another team then yes it counts. That is why I said and will say again in your case it did not matter. Your team was NOT on a sweep you had already loss one game. Now in the case of a player not showing up with all due respect there is two of you posting inside this forum trying to defend a game now.........Where were you two when it was time to write a quick note in this forum so we had some type of record to look back at and say they made a point to notify the other team etc?I can only answer based on information you guys give me ....

  Now one last thing- clearly I said if you had a problem with time zones etc your club is on auto extension. That wasn't given to one club it was all clubs. Even Slor's post himself that he made today said get those scores in by close of tonight so exactly how do you figure your club is being treated differently?

  Okay I am going to be out today if anyone is looking for me. Slor has the file and what I can tell you is those of you that did step forward and forfeit the program finally rounded up to the next integer which means ......if you did step forward you received a point for the forfeit so it still is the best route to go......so sometimes it will show 5-1 appearing that 6 games were played .......that's because the 1/2 point rounds up to 1 but the truth is two teams split a point. Slor may change it so don't take it as set in stone til he gives his Ruling on it but I for one like the idea that it splits the point then neither team is truly hurt.

  Since it did have some problems uploading to the site Captains and Owners please make sure your wins are right ..... I don't have a clear trust of the program yet.
