Old CC wanted to charge $39/month - Looking for a new club

  Interesting:

  This new owner shows two entry dates to the CC: One on the CC activity, right before she (? signs as Jen) became the owner yesterday,

  and one in the member list (March 23, 2017, hover over the name) which apparently is days before she played the first visible round (maybe on mobile before?).

  The fee is 20 $ now, from her status.

  I hoped that the company would have taken the CC, but the fee speaks against that.

   

  The former owner is now a Director, current membership 234, with about 25 joining in the last three days. Anybody knows if they had 250 as is claimed by them?

  From the activity log I see a thread in their CC forum, "Cant afford 70 cents a day? lol" opened by the "captain"=former owner yesterday. 

  One member, T, posted "39 $ a month" yesterday and received a massive number of replies by the captain but nobody else. T has changed the CC.

  Not the CC I'd like to be in.

  Even the "price" is annoying, sounds like a salesman's pitch, I'm surprised it's not $38.99.

  H2LOwn*r is a strange username, especially for a player who joined last month!

  So someone joins wgt with the name of an already existing club and owner as their username.  To cap :-0 it all the owner of that club then steps down and they take over.  Nothing suspicious there then ;-)

  That is strange; if you leave and rejoin a CC it usually shows the later date on the member list.  It does appear she joined twice.

  He also posted "Caps Last Message about Club & Dues!" ,  "Look at the Numbers",  Get-In H2L Corp before Door Closes! and  H2L Membership Fees.

  Why would someone start all that and then move aside?  The whole thing is disgusting, at least most multi's run some risk while scamming people but I suppose that takes at least a tiny bit of skill.

  So yesterday WGT said they would look into it , Today there is a new owner (Probably the same owner)  In women's clothing ,  Does that mean its ok to charge membership fees ?

  I didn't think WGT would allow it , Perhaps I was wrong .

  An account created by a newbie who knows nothing about WGT using " H2LOwner" as a name  before said person even knows about THIS cc has to be the greatest use of esp ever! I mean' how stupid would it be to set up a second account under that name? Nope. New player recruited by the big guy himself to take over!

  Wonder if the new owner has access to the previous owner's gmail account?

  I am sure that Icon and company will shut them both down, it has been less than 24 hours since this developed publicly. I would think that WGT has a hard time getting $20-$40 a month out of these players, do you really think they will allow a scammer to get it?
