Yea! We all lost Oakmont. Never liked that course.

Mobiles gained Best of the Famous,  the ability to compete in CC Bracket Tournaments, not to mention mobile ability to make tournaments without crossing over to the computer side, and The Best of Par 3s .

Let me say as a Mobile player I think this was a long awaited upgrade we all were in need of in our CCs.

OK, it's not without glitches as expected. But those will pass. Like showing every unlimited play game as " Need to Play " after the first play. Showing Brackets score as played not after the bracket is full and both competitors complete.

Many Thanks to the Crew for their hard work in getting us where we Are!

Well, if you're a mobile player, you might be in for a bit of a surprise regarding your CDP. I just launched the app on my iPad a bit ago, and it had my CDP at day 3. The thing is that I'm at day 717.

I went on to the web-based version, and it had it at the correct number. I played an online practice round and received the appropriate credit.

Still, seeing the CDP at Day 3 was a bit of a shock. I'm going to send a note to customer service and ask if they're aware of the glitch.

+1. You had to know what you were doing and be good at course management to do well at Oakmont. The Grip it and Rip folks were usually clueless there.

+1 to both of the above (i.e. fatdan and K7JBQ).

I loved Oakmont! It was one of my favorite courses to play. It had some really great holes. In fact, here's one of the best holes I've ever played (in terms of hitting a great drive and approach and a perfect putt for eagle).

What's not to love about that!

And 17th hole was just a fun hole to play, with the green being driveable.

You could certainly add Merion to that list.  Hopefully WGT won't lose another American classic.

OP, the complaints are legitimate.  WGT abrupty deletes a course with no warning,no explanation and no apology.  Slips it in there right with the stupid After Hours avatar.  And not just any course.  A National Historic Landmark and host of nine United States Open Championships.  YOU may have not liked the course, but for every one of you there are many that appreciatie the importance of one of the great golf courses of the world.

I'm afraid to say that your learning curve hasn't saturated yet.

    Some glitches never die!
