So when WGT designed this new Open course, did you guys say "hey, lets maximize profit and put brush everywhere with an automatic lost ball feature.  My GOD Bill that's brilliant!! Now we can make more money for wizards and dragons, WIZARDS and DRAGONS, and Ill have enough to pay that stripper to let me dress like a clown while I club her.  Smell my flower,....thanks lost ball feature"

    I mean, come on..................

WGT did not design Erin Hills. They didn't even select it as a U.S. Open course. What WGT did was shoot the course and program it. Ive only lost 2 balls there and both were due to stupidity. Trying to reach # 1 in 2 from the tips. Play safely and you won't lose any balls. Get greedy and you can and will lose balls.

only lost one ball on his the course so far, out of bounds down the first on my approach in high winds

I think it's a pretty generous wide driving course and you can only blame yourself for lost balls

    I am NEVER at fault!!

You surely aren't - just because of the lack of factual allegations.

Tell you what: The last foreign course that I played for real just stole a ball on my very first shot, ignoring that I teed up behind the burn instead on yellow before it, using the uncommon situation of a strange driver in my hands against me and not taking care that I was somewhat hurried, so that I choked the shot into the hazard - not my fault at all!!

Nevertheless, it was a very splendid experience, a birdie and more pars than I might expect - I liked it!

My two Pfennig: Try to find some fun on Erin Hills!

No doubt, since 2009, you never lost a ball until you played Erin Hills. This being the case I would suggest that you try the other courses because Erin Hills was set up with you in mind.

Obviously, most courses have danger lurking when a player doesn't hit the ball where the short grass grows. As an old timer you should know better than blaming the course. Just learn to hit the ball straight and where the dangers lie on Erin Hills.
