No!!!  *grabs his Satin64 with white knuckles*  You can't have it!  That, Driver, and Putter.  You can take any of my other clubs but those.

    JaLaBar:
I do have to disagree with the person who said the front was easier.  I made the turn at -1 and shot -3 the back 9.

The point I was making was that the approach shot to green is shorter on front 9 than back 9 (at least it was for me). Par 5s to be reached in 2 is only for the brave, so I was laying up with 2nd shot, therefore shorter approach shot to green. I had 5 birdies and 1 bogey on the front 9 first go. Only one birdie on the back 9 and 3 bogeys.

Cut Update: The Bollox has shot 59 and AvLee 60 , so I predict cut will be 63.

Or to put that in a formula - Bollox + 4.

    AvatarLee:
Jim, have a peek at my setup (only changed the irons)  I'm still liking the spacing with the Punch of the PW coming in at 108 yards to fill the gap from 100-125..... and I still have the 64 Degree in the bag.

Ya I considered that but what bothered me was that gap you're covering with the punch. 110 -115 coverage bothers me. From what I've learned using the 2 lower CGs I very much like the way the landing is very controllable and the way they handle choking down-very predictable. The CG115 fits right nice there (for now.)

I also like the way the CGs punch so my plan is to see what kind of revamp of the short game I need without the 64 degree first. So far, at CCC, the way the sand and rough is, it looks like it won't be a huge problem. Maybe not as easy as with the 64w but definitely fun to try.

A major plus with these irons is that little 1/2 dot extra in forgiveness. Swings missing by a pixel or 2, sometimes more, don't deviate as wildly as the i15s did. This helps with the fast meter which, incidentally, is like Icon said-a bit slower than the i15s.

    LOL @ JaLaBar  :-D

I'll have to have another few goes at it too then. Shot a 64 first time out with 2 bogeys. Last bogey on 18 when I was about a foot from going in the drink. Misjudged the elevation slightly!

Fantastic course. I would probably shoot about a 74 with high winds though.

Then we concede.  But I plan on giving Bollox a run for his money... in 2012.
