some guy that makes his living on WGT

Is it possible?? It's just a sarcastic pejorative joke, right?

First of all there's nobody that can make a living playing WGT there's nobody that can make enough to support a cigarette habit.

And again alosso is right  stay within your tier and pick and choose wisely . Also to reveal the scores of the people that have already played is just a plain spoiler it just takes the mystery and incentive and the drive and fun out of it.

Some of you guys just take things too literally.  I know that no one makes enough money here to support themselves, you can however see on the main screen when you log in, under EARNINGS LEADERS, there are those that make WAY more than needed to support a cigarette AND liquor habit simultaneously such as HaojenTW who's sported a YTD total winnings of $10,390.00

I so agree with this. let alone, all other glitches this game has to spend your $... This months wgt tourney at st. andrews, hacks tier shot  58, got better each tier to 53...seriously ? hack with a 58 ? you cant stay at hack tier an shoot like that !!! what a con job...I dont play cc tourneys for same reason, check leaderboard, everytime in the 50's...im a smart gent, and i know enough to understand law of averages in general...this jus b.s., i understand its a game, but when i invest $ into anything, i expect it to work right, an not to get bent over in the process...durability of balls is b.s...tired of being told its my problems, blah, blah blah...hell dam game forfeits and says its you, you havent done zip...list is long...i will play with friends, make new ones, only $ will be on balls..until they fix the site, stop the bots and cheaters with multiple names-players...i see no reason to spend anymore than that..improve the dam game...

how do you figure that unless you're (not you literally) one of those that consistently beats the crap out of people in these tournaments?

mystery, incentive, fun?  where's the fun in getting your azz handed to you by a Hack shooting a 53 because you as an honest person refuse to cheat?  I additionally don't see the incentive in that?

RG's would take forever to fill if they showed the scores before they were full...how would the ppl that make a living at this pay their bills on time??

LMFAO..........$10,390.00      LMFAO        And to think one wasted 7 months of life to earn slightly more than the equivalent  of a "grand".....

That wouldn't even cover my  children's monthly allowance...........

    winnings of $10,390.00

So you, too, fell to that swindle? It's far away from Dollars in the pocket!

First of all, it's but 1,039,000 virtual credits "of no monetary value", as the T&Cs state. They can even take them away from anybody any time. The reverse exchange rate abused here doesn't exist. AFAIK, only two players receive real value each year, winning the trips to the US Open.

To revert any credits to money, you have to verify yourself as a genuine person. This is blocked for some countrys as well as for some US states.

Only premium players will win sufficiently after putting loads of money and/or time into the game. They also have to buy their clubs and balls from this amount.

Next, buy gift cards for your credits. 165,000 credits buy a 250 $ gift card, so the real exchange rate is 660 credits per Dollar and you have to buy goods from the issuing companies.

So, IMHO, those "tenthousand Dollars" may translate to 1,000 Amazon-$ in seven months - enough for a "recreational" smoke but not for a heavy habit.

This is my view on ready go tournaments for what it is worth.   I play in them once in a while, used to play a lot.

I agree that the scores should not be posted until the tournament fills.   To show the scores puts the people who have played first at a disadvantage because if I happen to post a good score, then half the field won't play, the current posting method is fair and correct.

In terms of ties and how pots are split, I favor no ties at all for any position.  Use the current tie breakers to break ties from 1 to 30 so you don't first tied for 10th and get 20th place money, I realize that someone loses here but I'm for full tiebreakers, if they are all exhausted, then first score posted breaks that tie.

Research is what tells you if you are going to be competitive and I suggest that you look at some results to determine if you think you have a chance before plopping 500 credits into the pot.

When I was Tourmaster I played paid tournaments. All I care about was to play my best, and hope whatever my score was lower than my opponent. If you feel your game is good enough to win in these tournaments, then you don't not need to see others score. Or, you can check past tournaments, and get a general idea of what score you need to place. Now that I am at Legend tier, I know my game isn't good enough to beat these guys in my tier, so no more tourney for me, till I get back my winning score.
