    pdb1:

And again alosso is right  stay within your tier and pick and choose wisely .

This guy chose wisely in the July Legend tier open.  Only played 5 times this year and shoots 55 at Merion FFS.

Tournaments would never get started using your plan of action. Everyone would be waiting for everyone else to post a score before they decide to play their round. Not very practical I think you would agree.

The way its done gives the same chance to every player. As another player said, look at previous results and compare that to your ability to make a decision on whether you should enter or not

    TWEDLAKE:
I want to play in the paid tournaments but I don't want to sign up and cough up my 500c only to find some guy that makes his living on WGT has scored a (in 4th place) 34 on a 72 par 18 hole game.  There is NO WAY in hell I would even come close to competing with that.  Yes a little exaggerated but you get the point.  I can't honestly be the only person that feels this way with the way the paid tournaments are setup.

I never knew there were 500 credit comps at M / TM? level...........I will have to sign in a guest and check that.  Why WGT offer that is nuts (if they are) as that's certainly a red rag to every multi going.

You are a L87 TM now and with really very VERY good equipment at that level.  It's Legend tee length capable equipment.  OK think about the hybrid at L but I assume your current plan is always so close to the green the 100 yard wedge would sit idle....Go all day with that and digressing.

As already said look at the result trends.  If you can hang with that (or maybe lower credit entry costs) you will float in them.  If you can't usually hang with those scores you will sink very quickly..........Simple.

EDIT: Looking at your score history you look way off the mark. No point blaming all day play of others.  Most do not need to do that or close to it to improve from where you are.  Seek advice with to find out how to improve your ADTP before worrying about credit comps you have no chance in.

problem is this. To many legends and champions. Out of say 1000 legends only 20 will win the ready go's and brackets as they shoot 57/58/59's all the time. There are legends with averages of 59 and winnings in the 1000's. For me these people should be moved up to T/L or champ. Theres no way i will enter any high entry fee tournament when them 20 odd players shoot so low. Just giving away credits. Problem is they will play in every available tournament to maximise there gains.

Until a system comes into place or a few tournaments made so that its based on your earnings as well as your tier then it will continue to be the same. Have some tournaments that only allow people who have won up to a certain amount in career earnings and it will be better for the rest of us. At the moment theres no way i can win any credits. Might get 1 or 2 for finishing like tied 30th in a weekly but you waste more on ball dura for that.

Wgt are happy for the select few to keep earning credits though as it means more people have to gain them through other ways including buying them so more $$$.

i do agree with above all i would like to see scoreboard too. And it doesn't help when you play only 14 holes save it go back next day and you can't play on because its not there.
