There is a solution to the meter issue you just have to take the time to sort it out. If anybody needs a little help doing this, just send a friend request and pm me and I will do my best to walk you through it.

It's been said a hundred times before, But most meter problems come from your computer. Smooth frame rates ( smooth meter ) are a must in this game. Anything else running on your computer can and will affect frame rates (giving a jumpy meter) Unless you have a high end computer ANY drag on the ram in your machine will affect the re-fresh rate of your video card, And that is where the smooth ( or lack of ) meter comes from. Try shutting down ALL programs that run in the background. Your anti-virus, malware, pop-up blocker ect. all eat ram.

If you don't know how to check for and shut down all the stuff you don't need running there are many free programs that you can download and have them do it for you. Cnet(.com) is a great place to find free programs. I use io-bit advanced system care and again it's FREE. I haven't had any meter problems in over a year (after finding out about the cause of my meter glitch). I'm not running anything close to a high end computer at 1.6 gh chip and 1 gig of ram and a cheap HP video card.

Bittydog, they have been told that forever. But most people won't listen. They say I have a new topline PC so I know it's not my PC. The sad ting is that the newer the PC unless they take time to optimize it to run flash the worst their meter is going to be. Because most new PCs are glutted with unneeded programs all running in the background making their processor work much harder that it should  have to. Add to the fact that most new PC's unless they were built for gaming and have an add-on high quality video card have integrated video cards built into the mother board. These type of  video cards uses system memory and are not as powerful as a add on card and as they use system memory your system memory is taxed much more than it would be if you had a good quality add-on card. Add Windows 7 areo and themes taxing the video card even more and you are going to have meter problems. The simple solution is to get something like game booster or Gboost to optimize the PC for gaming. It is not rocket science but it does require people to acknowledge that their PC even though brand new and powerful it at fault.
