    You may be right about the average being 55 rather than 57 . But one wouldn't know that with out an invitation .

  From one hole to another, that was true when written (2015) but go back far enough and you'll find a post telling you master is the top tier.  The invitational tier is now Hall of Fame, although they dress that up a little.

  220 strokes, you'll make it by the end of next month.  It'd be a lot sooner if they stopped showing your opponents bracket scores ;-))

  Bwahahaha, only just seen this. True, but saving 85 - 90 credits over 18 holes makes the wait less painful... ;-)

  My average is still 60+, got 'promoted' from Legend to Tour Legend a short while ago.

  Your average as a TL is 60.40, the average resets at each tier.

  may be what got you promoted, if not it was the prize you won for being runner-up in the bracket immediately after.  I'd guess the 58 was more likely.

  Sorry, my turn to miss a post for ages. 

  A more serious point, that must make gaining credits in brackets very difficult.

  Take the100c 18 hole.  First round -190, second -280, semi -82, finish second +404 and win +980.  So using fairly expensive balls only the finalists gain, I see why you play free balls when you can.  Better on the 9 hole and 200c of course but maybe tougher opponents.
