And right above my first post but sadly ignored, by myself anyway, was SlidersBest with exactly the same answer.
10 + 3 x 2 = 16
(10 + 3) x 2 = 26
Therefore 16 is the correct answer because of the lack of parentheses.
That would be in progressive order but multiplication and division happen before addition and subtraction in the absence of parentheses. Get yer nickle back. ;-)
