  Sure not yours. Unless you're ready to unleash some newfound math, a cat worth 5 with a 2 whistle around the neck would probably be a 3 if they took that 2 off. IDK, just a WAG.

  Dan, process of elimination...last number of the product (and therefore first number of the multiplicand) has to be even because the multiplier is 4. Since both numbers are 5 digits, stands to reason it's 2, since the product must be less than 100,000. Each step after that narrows possibilities because no number is repeated in the multiplicand nor in the product.

  No, they most definitely don't. How many guys have to tell you you're wrong? You have a cat worth 5 and a whistle worth 2 but when the cat takes the whistle off it some how magically turns a 5 into a 4? How does that work?

  Maybe you could explain that and show how everybody else is wrong?
