Lately when playing my 9 hole rounds, an extremely irritating short burst of music comes on about 10 times during my game approx. 12-15 seconds in duration, & then mysteriously disappearing. Some of the lyric is ....."gossip more than friends"... as best as I can make out, sung to the tune of the old classic "My Girl" by the  Temptations. Can anyone tell me where this obnoxious sound byte is originating from, or how to disable it?

For what it's worth, I think it only occurs if I have my Ad Blocker disabled (not 100% positive yet), & it occurs on top of the WGT audio I have set, such as balls strike, bird noise, car-honks, airplane drones, etc. This music burst described above is really annoying, so any input would be appreciated.

You're a funny guy, but not much help in the big scheme of things, so I tend to believe that you did indeed require the services of a psychiatrist. Nonetheless, my legitimate question still stands on how to eradicate this irritating music.

    Hi Slimjym,

The music can be turned off in the menu options>

    Hoe this is useful!

One way is just turn the  sound off on your computer, instead of the game.

Check the fillings in your teeth. Sometimes I get 60's on 6 from Sirius through my dental work. Then I have to put my aluminum helmet on to block the sound waves.

Guess we've got a couple wannabe comedians out there today. On a serious note however, if I'm not mistaken, turning off my laptop volume while having my game volume enabled (suggested in one legitimate reply) also turns off the WGT game sounds I desire. Since the revolving carousel is being phased out next week, I'll most likely re-enable my Ad Blocker on the WGT website, which seems to seems to eliminate these annoying sporadic music bursts. The only reason I had Ad Blocker disabled at times, is that this is the only way for the revolving carousel to work to accumulate extra credits.

If you use a separate browser for the game you can use Adblock without affecting your carousel-just enable it in that browser. That way you can use the Settings to control what you hear and still be able to see your carousel in the other browser.

If you do elect to use a separate browser for the game, set the home page to the game client and you avoid all the main site traffic and interference.

It will be coming from an ad on your home page. Click to your home page and you'll find it on there somewhere. Some have the ability to turn sound off on them. If not then choose another page without video ads on them.
