The point was the skill factor. The HS kid had the same equipment the pro's did and nowhere near the skill to succeed. You know whatever you saw was an anomaly.
The amount of money you would need to spend doesn't equate to more than a round or 2 IRL but still won't get you game off the shelf. Once spent it's free golf from there on unless you choose to spend money on that cheesy Cabo so in relative terms it's cheap fun.
rickertt: I'll be John Daly or Tiger Woods could take clubs off the shelf at K-Mart and go to Congressional and reach every fairway off the tee. Do you think they can't?
US Open tees? Maybe, maybe not. LOL-they'd probably break the head off the clubs trying much like the HS kid swinging a foreign wooden bat against a 100 mph heater he's never seen. :-)
