You have to disable the wifi connection from your house and just use data or LTE.  I had the same problem and I never use wifi anymore because it was so jumpy.

Connecting via wifi as opposed to using cellular data should have no effect. Assuming a stable wifi connection and decent speed of the connection, whatever differences you experienced were coincidental to changing how you connected.

Unless the kids are hammering the router with Netflix.

    I disagree.

Again, unless you have a fairly slow internet connection to begin with, it shouldn't be an issue. For the most part, I've never had any laggy meter issues with my iPhone or iPad Air or iPad Pro. And we've had multiple devices running at the same time, with some streaming video.

As an aside, until recently, we only had an 18 Mbps line, which is slow by today's standards.

Have you tried disabling shadows in the video settings? A few updates ago some players were having meter problems and disabling shadows helped them. Also have you tried playing on a different device? Maybe your I-Pad has a problem that only shows up on WGT.

That's a good suggestion. I turned off shadows a long time ago, simply because I didn't want them. And I rarely experience any lag problems. And when I do have lag issues, it's always because I needed to clean the screen a bit.

Sometimes, the simplest solution is the best.

the only time its noticeable to me is in head to head or coin games, more so when hitting tee shots. in solo play the meter is pretty much as its always been
