I wasn't around at the beginning so no idea how hard the game was back then, but I know that you can certainly improve if you have a top player actively instructing and helping you improve while talking live while in game playing rounds.

Watched and seen it happen, no magic, no cheats, just player[s] who wish to really play well.

This game seems to have developed into a very formula driven game for those who really wish to improve. There are couple of tried and true methods that will most definitely move your putting up by huge numbers, if you want to learn them.

Same with wind, there is a method for playing in heavy winds and it works if you use it, if you want to take the time and do it. If not, wing it and take what you get.

'Feel' players are at a pretty big disadvantage it seems if you want really drill in top scores.

Cheats? Not really worth getting into anymore.

    lonnieskinner:

I'm afraid you are dead on AB. This game has turned into a game of cheaters. As far integrity, there is very little left. Yes, some play the game right and it is easy to find us. I have been at this game for 7 years and still struggle with heavy wind and uel. Yes the putting is a dead give away. No one figures out putting in one year. I started off so badly at putting that my average is still 1.41. O well, there is really nothing we can do about them so I guess I will just continue putting along.

Am  i understanding you correctly?  Your saying that because wgt made the game easier than when you started, your labeling those of us that are newer to the game, cheaters with no integrity? These forums are full of information on how to putt, hit longer drives, usage of backspin, getting out of roughs, sandtraps, and yes the usage of glitches to level up faster, for easier and earlier access to better equipment. Yes this is all us cheating?  Then whose guilty of aiding us? Alot of you gave me all the formulas for wind corrections, putting slopes, etc, now your upset cuz it didn't take 10 years to get good? Hello? What am I missing here?  I have to be misunderstanding something.

I like my popcorn with butter. Who else wants some and with or without butter?

I don't think he's referring to guys like yourself, Lucky, he plays where his point is valid-credit tournaments. I don't play them simply because of what he said. You can't trust that you're playing a legitimate opponent. It's a play at your own risk thing and there's no integrity in that.

Ok, I had to ask, hoping that I was misunderstanding something.  I know that I don't agree alot of times with things that are stated.  But most of the time most advice given,  is very accurate. That's exactly why I don't play the tourneys, I listened and kept track, for awhile,  on who was winning.  This game can be aggravating enough, without getting beat by a hack shooting a 53,    lol

I introduced a friend to the game 70 short days ago.

He has never played before, and only uses coins for equipment and apparel.

He only plays mobile, and has achieved a level so close to mine, in a very short time.

I know I am not a good player, but I just can not get over how fast he is leveling up.

I suspect he will pass me soon, as long as he keeps playing.

    Thanks, Greg

I wont play hacks for that reason.  Shame though.  You never know if its someone who is starting over or a genuine newbee.  I found the blitz games are a good way to kill some time keep your green shots honed and meet new players.

I would also like to thank all you Forum guys for all your tips and help aids. Cheers!!!

    Oh boys boys boys.

The new accounts are forced to buy new equipment and therefore wgt agrees because it earns.

This is simply the trade policy no scandal.

    bye

    That's not true at all.

You have to realize, if people are willing to have multi accounts, it doesn't mean they just have one other account.

Many probably have 2 3 4 and more accounts and keep their credits spread out. One gets closed and no big deal, they open a new one and give the new account credits to buy clubs from one of their other dual accounts.
