very true soul..I am right on the edge  just was saying would be nice to get a few swings and see it for ones self as not all of us have the same hand eye cordnation..Again in all i agree it would be cheaper then what i spend on my captain and cokes at the course but now will it help lol i know the drinks do even if it dont reflect on the score card lol..

Zagie... it sounds like you need to ask WGT for a beverage cart on the course.  And like some golf balls slow down the swing, perhaps when you purchase a rum & coke it, too, will slow down your swing.

no i did try that tonightlol while yes i got a -4 under for 9 holes i then get a 11 over on 18 so maybe its a limit thing to the drinks..will test this tonight )

i thought that's why the swing meter is jumpy in the 1st place...to represent alcohol consumption on the course...Make my Captain and Coke a double please

    happy golfing all

There is a lot more to this game, that's for sure.  Not saying new toys won't help, they probably will...but never underestimate the power of the mind.  I sit down at the computer for a round, I'm calm relaxed and listening to the birds outside.  All of a sudden I'm making birdies like crazy.  I adjust my chair, scratch my head and realized that that low 60's round, the one I thought was never possible, is not that far away.  Now, I'm tense, my palm are sweating and I can't get comfortable...before I know it, I'm making bogeys (or worse) like I never played this game before.  In no time, frustrated and mad at myself, I'm just hoping to break par.

Guess I should start reviewing all that stuff I have on relaxations techniques (smile).

Joey my thought is just have fun the birdies will come. Just play your game and enjoy. That is what I do sometimes birdies sometimes bogeys.

I hear you Gerry.  With me, its when I press that everything goes south.  Funny what pressure can do in this game as in real golf.  So I don't hijack this thread, I'll get back on point ...I was only trying to point out to Zagie that upgrading might not fix the meter problem if the meter problem is in our heads.  What comes to mind is back 9 at Augusta Nat'l on Sunday.  Heck, I'm nervous just watching on TV.

Hey, how about some deep breathing???
