It still puzzles me why the wind strength and direction cannot be the same for all players in any one given tournament. I know people will say someone can pass the info on to someone else but you still have to nail the shots and more importantly hole the putts. Why someone would do that anyway is beyond me.
I'd rather have the same wind strength and direction for everyone, at the risk of that information being passed on. Better that than luck becoming a not insignificant factor in proceedings.
It would become boaring, and repetative, and scores would become ridicilous because you could then memorise what shot was best for that hole because it will always be the same. Where's the fun in that.
Half the challenge of this game is working out the wind on particilar holes each time, (especially when one camera angle shows a sidewind, the other a south westerly). This is what gives the best challenge for us each hole. If you prefer the wind the same for each hole, we might as well go back to using driver/wedge each hole aswell, what about moving tees forward while we're at it. LOL
