I purchased 20 of them to see exactly what shot pal did for a golfer.  It is VERY clear it gives meter readings that otherwise wouldn't be there so it DOES give an edge.  Not sure how someone could use any logic and suggest it doesn't.

Of course the same "logic", or lack thereof, could be applied to upgrading clubs, balls, etc.

On a side note, my wife wonders why there as little tick marks spaced evenly along the bottom of my monitor..........

Not 12 strokes worth like you alluded to in the original post.

Because if you wish you can make the same thing with paper and tape. And if it gives an unfair advantage then about 80% of the players on WGT have an unfair advantage. Because there is probably at least 80% of all active WGT members that are in  level 4 or higher CC and get shot Pal free and use it. Also as YJ has pointed out before most clubs are not really linear and 95% power on Shot Pal wont necessarily get you 95% of the rated distance of the club.

It's not an unfair advantage if it's the standard of play.

If you play anyone outside your club whether it's mobile or PC you're likely playing someone that's using it.

You do understand that when your club gets to level 4 shot pal will be available to all the club members for free? There will be no way to know who is using or not.

If Shot Pal gets your dander up don't go onto Twitch/ Youtube and watch the top bombers. There are compasses and rulers and Charts that drop down. Takes a lot of work and retention of information to get half good at this game. Find a way to have fun mate. It is after all why we are here. :-)

if one player in your club is using shot pal and others aren’t is this fair or give that person an advantage?

Yes it is fair and it not only gives him an advantage, it is a indication of superior intelligence...

One member recently beat another top member by 12 strokes and it seemed odd. We discovered he had purchased thousands of shot pals and no one else in club was using it.

If someone gets beat by 12 strokes, it isn't because of "putter/shot pal", it is because he is totally outclassed by his opponent....

FYI, We aren’t allowed to use putter pal in h2h

Why? However if that is the club rule, he is most likely breaking it, but you can't prove it, so he is innocent, but suspect!

The OP is the Owner of his Level 3 CC.  He's too green to realize his entire CC members will be receiving "Free" Shot & Putter Pals when they reach CC Level 4.  By then he'll realize having those 2 things is A-OK per WGT rules and offer no competitive advantage whatsoever.
