now that is an eye opener for me. For years I try working on my swing and apparently it is the ball that is responsible for winning or losing :-) ... just got of the course after a mediocre round and must have played the wrong ball,- damn those Wilson Staff balls :-)...

PS: I admire anyone who thinks you are playing Titleist Pro V1s in this game. We all play a computer game where the attributes of a ball are programmed into a game. They slap a logo on it and display it in the bottom right corner of the screen and off we go ... they probably could add a new ball, add the best possible attributes to it and put a Top-flite logo on it and a lot of guys here would disregard it as top-flite isn't considered a high end ball in real life :-)

on a separate note: please stop complaining about "inaccurate" shot results and "WGT" messing with your game. if indeed this is supposed to be the most realistic gold game,- WGT please add a few more erratic shots to it as the game is nothing like real life as it is ... As I said, I just got off the golf course and experienced it myself (and I am a half decent player) :-)

    DAZZA501:

So who thinks we'll get Titleist clubs here further down the line?

No brainer...they're coming at a price though

    DAZZA501:

I've always wanted a set of Titleists in real life.

Mizuno will make you rethink that desire.

DonCaron, these are the specs for the Nike RZN platinum Level 90 that I've been using.  I appreciate the fact that this is a clone for same price, but I'm level 91 and don't appreciate having to work my way up again to level 95 to buy the equivalent ball I've been buying for the last two years.  That will take me at least a year to do and if that's the case may call it quits when my supply of Nike balls are gone.  I feel the equivalent Taylormade should be able to be had at the same Level 90 as the Nike's were.

suggest you take a look at the lv81 ball. not much different from what you play now and even cheaper. it's the same specs and price as it was when it had the Nike logo on it

I hardly play these days but I'll never part with my Callaway X-14 Pro Series irons. Amazing clubs, so easy to hit with.

My first second set of irons were Mizuno, a budget set but still nice.  Just not in the same league as the Callaway.

I have a set of 695cb's for sale; 3-PW, standard length, adjusted to 2 degrees flat, 1-year old Golf Pride multi-compound grips (red & white). Interested? :)

My son got married last March and we played Belleair CC in Florida on Friday before the wedding,  Belleair's rental clubs are brand new Mizunos.  My drives were down there with the young bucks and I hit every fairway except for one.  My irons were the easiest I've hit ever.  We tied for first place as we had 12 foursomes out there.  Now, if only I could afford a set.

Wait, this was the thing we were supposed to be excited about? That had the mods so excited they were about to vomit? "We're raising the price on premium golf balls." That's all this amounts to in the end. There's no meaningful difference in performance between the Titleist balls and the top Nikes, so it's just more money for the same product, unless you just really get excited about the brand name on your fake golf ball.

The corporate doublespeak from this company is constant and exhausting. Trying to sell the VUSO this year as something exciting was one thing. But this is something else altogether. I love playing this game, but this company is unmitigated trash.

Are they collection only :) Bit far for me to come.

That's a fair point Paul. I tried the MP-18's as my friend has them. I must say they are a great set of irons but if i got Mizuno he'd just think i was copying him :-) I'm still playing my Nike Vapor fly pro's at the moment and i do like them but the black finish just wears away and now they look a bit tatty. I've only had them 18 months.
