Just ignore them Dazza.  Not sure why some feel compelled to tell you that you're not seeing what you're seeing.

These balls are helping me shoot lower scores.

Nawww it must be the wind.

Nawww you just had a round.

    Pfft!

I bought some new irons in real life a couple of years back. Cut my handicap down a couple of shots. Now i'm thinking maybe it was just because the wind was right on every single round i've played since i got them :-)

It must be -- that darn wind.  I don't know why anyone even bothers upgrading clubs/balls at all -- just hope for that all empowering wind!

No one has said he is not seeing his own observations, just that there are multiple factors that can be considered that can also explain such things as swings in ones score...  newer and lower tier players put a lot of value in top players observations so before we start trying to justify spending upwards of 1000 credits for one sleeve of balls ... i feel it would help to see more than a couple or few rounds... what is wrong with that?

Top players are winning lots of credits with l34 cally balls, fmags one of the top credit winners on a monthly basis plays the majority of his rounds with the l61 ball...

If we can learn to play competitively with a mid range cost ball with consistent results ...some would prefer to save the excess expense unless there is strong evidence over dozens of rounds that show it is worth it and the cost could be recouped by winning tournaments... otherwise it comes across as misleading and gives lower tier players false hope the ball will lower their scores...

I can respect the play and opinion of others and still probe for a clearee picture and understanding of the results reported.

Gonna go ahead and suggest that if your vision is to compete with top players with consistent results you shouldn't be relying on what others are posting about any equipment or ball.

Time (lots of it) needs to be spent learning your clubs and ball of choice within budget to compete up there and that's it.

Of course its possible to compete with a cheaper ball, but that has little to do with what Dazza has observed while using that expensive ball.

There are plenty of threads on the winds in RGs not being fair . The players dont get the same identical winds when playing . This also holds true for any tournament when playing . So unlike in real life the winds here in the game can and do make all of the difference when playing .

So even though we do upgrade balls and clubs to play better, there are factors that can and will have an effect on our game play .Read the threads >>>>>>>> posted by others and you will see that the wind settings are not the same for everyone .

There is absolutely no dispute, that getting new and better equipment, will lower your scoring!  My grandmother used to say that " the proof is in the pudding"  Based on your statement, verses your scorecards, your claim is very disputable   your last 25 games came no where near your avg, except 1.  Your claim was that this ball was lowering your scoring by anywhere from 2 to 6 strokes!  There is no 49, or a 50 ,  in your recent history, therefore, I wouldn't purchase these balls based on your claims!  That's all I wanted to say.   Good luck!

You may want to take your own advice . Its funny that you would tell him this and yet criticize him for doing just that .

You are assuming my average is 54.35 just because that's what it says on my profile. I can assure you it's not.

So then I'll go back to my original statement,  based on the numbers, your claim is suspect! Suspect,  meaning needing more investigation and research!  I wasn't attacking you, or your claim, matter of fact, my post was directed to another person.  If that ball is doing so much better for you, then by all means, you'd be a fool to change.  I've been testing them, and I'm not completely sold, I like the meter, but my scores aren't changing much.  I know the stats are the same with the Taylor made balls vs. the nikes I was using, but the don't play the same for me at all.  Therefore I'm trying the titleists.    Again, good luck to you!   :-)

    Don't see the humour.

Dazza said the Titleist balls are lowering his scores.

You said that's BS and that it isn't the balls it's other things.  Can't possibly be the better balls.

I said who are you to tell Dazza that what he's experienced with the new ball isn't what he's experienced.

I then said if you want to compete with the best then you need to do much more than read forums and poke into top player's profiles to do what they're doing.

    It's not that hard.

If the Titleist has helped Dazza then so be it.  You're gonna sit there and tell him or anyone else that's not the case?  Maybe he should just use the starter ball or the 32 credit WGt whatever why...because better balls don't do sh1t right?  It's all wind.
