I just watched how WGT makes golf courses for online play (Royal St. George). Its really awesome the way its done, and yes it takes time (about 6 months start to finish). So you guys out there who want courses on the fly forget it. I guess the most WGT can do is 2 courses a year max.

Check it out, go to Royal St. George's.

Great work to all of you at WGT.

I would assume that they are already working on next year's open courses. Like Chad said it takes 6 months from start to finish so they would have to start work fairly close to the time the opens are played to have the courses ready for next year.

on the play screen if you go to the championship zone (under explore courses)

it has a future courses section

this should answer your question about new stuff coming
