Improved CC play

  I have just revised this entire thread and so anyone inerested will not need to do the same, here are what i believe the biggest issues cc owners and members have, listed in order of imprtance in my opinion.

  Multimessaging and administration tools. highlighted icons for club forums for unread posts and the like. Club owner being able to appoint other members with full access to admin tools.

  Tier specific tornaments, inculding  more than 1 tier being available to be selected as eligible for entry

  Credits supplied by wgt in order to hold tournaments for prizes or prizemoney

  Being able to play cc tournaments in a group with other members.

  More cc tournament options, ie matchplay, alt, handicap. I know this could be problematic, but i just ask you have a think about how it could be done.

  Interclub tournaments made simple.

  A more general and all-purpose thing might be to be able to set eligibility player by player. For tier based tourneys, you would sort the members list by that and click on all the TMs (or whatever); or click on just the names of the players who made a cut, or signed up to enter, or whatever.

  That's fine for tier-specific tourneys, if that's the one option you want -- out of an infinite number of possibilities. Nine out of 10 tourneys at my cc have eligibility requirements not based on tier.

  OR, let's say you have a multi-round Masters Tour, during the course of which 2 players move up to TM... Would you kick them out, or allow all TMs to play now? Under the player by player system you could allow only those 2 to be eligible to play. Yes, it would be a little more complicated, but much more flexible.

  These are allll great ideas / suggestions. I support ALL of them 100%. Even if a coupel of them were implemenyted. 

  Here is one that I think would be veeery easy for WGT to implement for club owners "only". Give us a "Tee box" drop down menu.  With this feature in place it would give us more options to hold some extremely fun tourns. 

  I hope WGT takes a look at some of these suggestions and at the least give it some thought of implementing them. They are all very realistic ideas / suggestions that could be implemented over a period of time and updates. Thanks WGT.

  driving range we need 1 how nice would it be to get use to that new driver and meter. maybe go and try a club before you waste your hard earned credits or rent it and still not know if your going to like it.

  Ambient noise - wind, trickling stream, sea surf, birds, insect fly-by.

  Basic commentary - "what a great shot!" "a tough shot from the rough"  "that was terrible!"

          With the option to switch 'on or off' of course.

  A Country Club based 19th hole/starter/waiting room (chat area?) where cc members can do the above & below. Maybe just a few tweaks on the existing invite system.

  1. Being able to go to the 19th hole/starter room to set up current & future cc based tee time(s) or open invite(s) to play a round or challenge. 

  &/or

  2. Being able to post & view posts of current & future cc team challenge(s) to rival club(s) in the starter room. Might include duo, 4-somes, or larger group challenges intra CC & contra rival CCs.

  3. Being able to view the results/progress of recent & current cc based challenge(s) in the starter room. Sort of like what's available for all the other tourneys.

  p.s. Not sure if that's a retread but it seems like a feature(s) that'd benefit all of u$. Our CC just had an open tourney and it was fun. I'd been away from the game until then and might lose interest soon w/ out something similar. The credit based challenges are ok but losing gets old...
