    SkeeterZ71:

    Priestess

    Avatarlee

    Bolloxinbruges

    Sweetiepie

Reason is, I enjoy reading yall's post. Have seen replays from most. Would like to pick yall's golf brain, and make a new friend. See me online sometime, send me an invite. I don't quit.

    Thanks

I see you haven't mentioned my alias, yet I would be an easy beat ;)

I would definitely love to play a round, or 20, with Avatar, BiB and Priestess and learn. Alas, and good on them, they only play with friends on their list.

    No particular order:

Greg Norman - gotta love the shark

Lee Trevino - If you're caught on a golf course during a storm and are afraid of lightning, hold up a 1-iron.  Not even God can hit a 1-iron.  ~Lee Trevino.  I will have to add that I've heard another quote but I can't remember who said it.  "There are only two people that can hit a 1-iron: God and Jack Nicklaus".

Alvin Waiter - Buddy of mine from a while back.  Playing golf, drinking beer and making fart sounds during each other's backswing.  He used to work at Dancing Rabbit in Philadelphia Mississippi and he even scored us a chance to have a fivesum with John Daly, Coach Mike Ditka and Jeff Foxworthy.  One of the most memorable days of my life. I wish I could find Alvin, but I don't know where he's at these days.  I'm sure we would pick up right where we left off, playing 36 holes every chance we got...lmao.

YankeeJim - He's the ONLY friend I have on here for "meter's sake".  I've never played a round with him but at the end of each of my rounds I see his name.  Usually his score is anywhere from 5 to 12 shots less than mine...lol.  We'll join up one day...

that's my 4...and thanks for starting this thread...I've enjoyed giving it the thought and I've enjoyed thinking about old times...

    Roy

Wow what a great thread. And that was some story there plim! Put a smile on my face. Now here is my 4 in order.

    1. BolluxinBruges - Why? Well he is arguably the best player on here as we all know. I would love to play a 18 hole round and just watch him take his shots and see what I can learn from him. I would be most grateful for that opportunity.

    2. Avatar Lee - Why? Well again I think he is arguably one of the best players on here, in my opinion only second to BB. I'm sure I could learn just as much from watching him play. And once again I would be most grateful for the opportunity.

    3. Priestess - Why? Well I would love another opportunity to play against her. I played against her once. It was in the Hooters Tour (last year) and I needed to play one of my rounds before the deadline. She was gracious enough to spot for me. Now if I'm not mistaken I believe my score did beat her score but again she was just spotting for me so it didn't really matter how well she played. I would love the opportunity to play against her for 18 holes when she is trying to play well just so I can see how she plays certain shots. And once again I would be very grateful for that opportunity.

    4. OskarWalker - Why? Well some of you may know this guy. Most of you don't. He was a fellow WGT'er and a member of my Country Club. Our Country Club is a close bunch of guys and gal and we all feel like a big family. He was a part of that. He passed away about 2 months ago suddenly. He is sorely missed and I would give anything to be able to play one more game with him so I could say goodbye and that I will see him on the other side. He was a great player and a really great guy.

I must say I did'nt see anyone mention my name lol.  I mean come on, I'm alot of fun in alternate play, I dont drink (much) and I been with WGT for almost 2 yrs.  So, invite me to a game sometime and you might just be surprised.  Of course most of what I've learned has come from better players.  Priestess is a friend of mine, but we have'nt played a game yet.  Got my fingers crossed.  Good luck Priestess in current tourney.

My late parents and my late brother. The golf was never that great but the quality family time we spent playing was. I worked with my dad during the summer through out high school and I remember one summer when the heat is about what most of the country is having now. One Friday after lunch dad said "It's too hot to work! Let's go play golf."

Here it would have to be Bollie,Lee,Jake,Priestess YankeeJim and Sweetiepie.

For the sheer love of golf and laughter I would love to play a round with David Feherety.

    John Daly

    Cheech Marin

    Bill Murray

    George Lopez

I figure John and I could drink and smoke ourselves silly while the rest of the group tries to top each other with jokes about my attire.  :))
