  Me - Only 4 allowed and I want to play too. (Something everyone else seems to have overlooked)

  Trevino was known as "the Merry Mex", but he was anything but a joyful person on the golf course..

  I was following Lee during a practice round at a Sr. Tour event back in the 90's..After hitting his drive left on the 18th hole, he was left with a 3 iron from the rough..A crowd gathered, and there was a group of spectators standing directly in his line about 20 yds ahead..He set up to hit the shot and a marshall beckoned him to wait until the marshall could move the fans..Lee responded, "Don't bother, the ball will move them", and Lee proceeded to hit the shot. The fans were literally diving for cover..Lee looked at the marshall and remarked with a laugh, "See, I told ya.."

  That is a true story...BTW, Lee's caddy 'Herman', was also an SOB..He had a habit of being noisy (coughing, etc) while Lee's playing competitors were hitting their shots..During the 2nd round of the tourny, I was working as a Marshall on the 1st Tee..While Jim Colbert was teeing off, Herman was shuffling through Lee's bag, and I asked him to be quiet..He promptly told me to go f-ck myself..

  I don't really have a top 4 "players to play" list, though I'd like to play some of the top players as well. Back in their ladder days (fall '09), I played 9 holes with bollox at kiawah. Obviously I lost, I had just started playing in June and was still carrying the starter set, and I remember wondering how he was able to back the ball up just right each time :) Unfortunately this was before I knew of him as an elite player, so my memory of the game is very hazy.

  I also saw lee in the meet and greet chat room a couple of times, but I never got the chance to play him; I'd like to have a chance to play one of them sometime but it seems highly unlikely, as I'm just one of thousands of players that would want to do the same.
