I've now been playing this 'game' (more like a slot machine) long enough to come to the conclusion that shot results are programmed and randomized.  Much too inconsistent to be based on the actual numbers (distance, wind, and club selection).

Couple that with issues that WGT simply will not address, that 'shaky meter', it's intentional,  So now you have a game not based on ability, but on how much money you fork over.

Honesty is the best policy WGT.

    RenoRick:

What else would you expect from a computer game?

I'm gonna leave out the second subject - can't find my tin hat today.

They are the Hold-Your-Tongue Tribe of Bay Area - different approach!

Gosh! Is it already time for another RenoRick conspiracy thread? Dang... time goes by so fast these days.

    are programmed and randomized.

    Que?

Anyway, I have played a lot shorter time and find that, when I am using a club with decent accuracy rating, the most random part of my game is me.  Anything from making mistakes in observation, estimating distance and direction, errors in picking club, shot type, and mis-dings to just plain old "WTH was that?" shots.  I won't even get into the interruptions by wife, kids, dog, etc., just as I pull the club back and release!

BTW - I have only spent $5 here.  When I started playing, there was an offer to "buy 500 credits and get 500 free" - so I did that.  Since then - nada.  One can play for free if they want to.

You guys and your 'tin hat' comments, haha.  At least I'm not paying $9 for 3 golf balls that don't really exist and that WGT can hit in the drink or out of bounds at their whim.

I'm only trying to point out that the game would be much more enjoyable if WGT put more control into the player's hands instead of them and their randomizing protocol.

The 'sticky meter' is NOT with your computer.  Play St. Andrews and then plan Pinehurst.  You'll see what I mean.

Welcome back Renodick, always amusing reading your rants and conspiracy theories.

But what was your question? How did you want the communities help?

Looking at your game......I am not sure where you would like the community to start.

He is right about all shots being random

I tried to knock a ducks head off on Congo 10 today for a bit of fun and the bloody ball ended up going into the cup.

    One thing though.....programmed and random.

Or was that randomly programmed, or even programmed randomly

My head hurts....been a while since visiting random threads like this

    Maybe a while longer ;-)

How come I never see that issue? Am I special, or something?  LOL

    I see a larger issue......

Maybe learn to find the green and then learn to putt? No tin foil needed there, just a little skill-very little.  :-D

I don't have any problem with my meter. 90% of wayward shots are on me, not the game.

Putts come up short, we adjust. This game is all about adjusting to the conditions.
