hey was just wondering (as you do), has anyone out there ever reached the 9th at congressional in 2 shot's from the back tee's...

it's just that i've tried many a times downwind to land it on the cartpath to see if it would take a large bounce up and on to the green..

would like to know if any1 has actually landed on the path, and find out if it's actually worth the hassle of me trying for it every time its downwind..not an easy birdie from 40/50 rough if you miss it..

    cheers

I try it everytime, if you miss the path you are left with a punch 62 yrads shot, if you hit the path you will be either on or in the right greenside bunker.

so what you's are telling me  is that even if u hit the path it is still an unlikely eagle...

but what the heck, i'l prob still go for it the next time i play it :)

jay townsend might call it bad course management..but what does he know eh

If you do post a replay here in the forum is always nice to take a look at some (impossible) shots; is going to be tough but if you manage to do it , that would be great.

Ihit the cartpath and rolled across the green into the 2nd cut , chipped close to make birdie. But im teeing off from the TM http://www.wgt.com/gameclient.aspx?view=showReplay&JSON=%257B%2520%2522GUID%2522%2520%253A%2520%25222d4a0250-1225-4520-8835-9f23009a4617%2522%252C%2520%2522Brand%2522%2520%253A%2520%2522undefined%2522%2520%257Dtee. Hi, I did it from 278 yards from the hole. It hit the cart path and ended up less than 7 feet from hole which I did eagle it. You can check the replay on my profile.

If you hit a path with the ball does it take a bit of extra life out of the ball?
