hole in 1 bali hai hole 3 (no save :-( )

  bali hai hole in 1 during blitz on hole 3 229 yards long without a bounce straight into to hole couldn't believe it! the players i was playing couldn't believe it either but didn't know how to save. would have been amazing replay. shame i can't recall the shot.

  The really sad thing is it won't count as a hole in 1 in your stats either.

  No it doesn't count as a hole-in-one on your stats but it does count as an ace in your CTTH stats though. I just had one in a blitz round 
  @ congressional and it did show up as an ace in my CTTH ace awards.

  As BORN suggests there are actually two types of aces / hole in ones in WGT.  There are the stroke play hole in ones that show up in your stats and their are the BLITZ aces that show up in your stats as well.

  Some of the BLITZ aces are harder and better shots than a real hole in one in stroke play but they are 2 different things.  I think the long ace that was made at Bali was hit from a spot in the fairway and in Blitz courses obviously you can make a putt for an ace on some courses.
