    I said the same thing in a round the other day. With all the par 5's easily reachable in 2 ( barring a headwind on the first) and a couple of driveable par 4's, you wouldn't even have to be a top player to do it.

    speaking of drivable par 4's at WC, had this little gem earlier... even had to back off driver a bit since I had such a great wind, but forgot to read the break on the green... LOL  made a couple mistakes on the last couple holes but still saved par … but it will likely be one of those courses where scoring is dependent on who gets the favorable winds, especially heavy winds as it obviously gives up fewer strokes into tougher wind sets...

    Parred the first two on the back 9 in a bracket game, ended up with 26. 26 on the back 9 isn't a gimme win.

    Course record thus far is 50. Yeah, 48 or under is a possibility if the conditions favour it, and the stars line up.

    ^^^^^I think this is the key.

    I have only played 9 holes (front) on WC so far and got immensely favorable winds.  The result was 4 eagles, 2 birdies, 2 pars and 1 double bogey (with a lost ball) for a 28.  I am sure I will never be that lucky again, but good players (not me) will be shooting low 20's at times.
