Move the hole on #2 green at Kiawah. If I miss one more birdie putt there I fear for my new 28" LCD monitors safety!

I didn't notice any rounds played at Oakmont. Wait until you play # 9 there. You think # 2 @ Kiawah is bad? Oakmont has been on here for over a year and I have exactly 1 birdie on # 9. And don't even talk about # 15 @ BPB.

Excuse the ignorance, my brain is not functioning this morning... I take it that's the par5.. I don't think that's too hard, for me anyway. If you play safe, you can get your 3rd shot pretty close to hole. Yes, wait till you play it off the Legends.

Oakmont #9 would have to be the hardest green on this planet...lol. I posted a question in the forums of how to play that hole and thanks to allot of great advice, I'm now getting a few birdies on it... pity about the other holes...lol

    Cheers

Funny, when I saw the title "Please for my Sanity..." I thought you were complaining about complaints, instead you're making another complaint. I also worry for you; a player who finds a fairly flat green extremely tough will probably never reach the brilliant feeling of scoring under par. You haven't seen anything tough until you've seen the pins of #2, #9 and #15 of Oakmont just to name a few.

TBF if we are being Kai specific, the pin position on the par 3 5th is more of a problem.

Almost never close enough for a birdie putt chance from under 10 feet.

Many a potentially good round at Kai is lost on holes 4 and 5.

How many of us have gone into hole four 2 or 3 under par just to post at least one bogey, if not two.

I'll take putting on any hole on any green over the lower pin placement at BPB #15.  If you are not dead below the hole, forget it.  Only hole I have ever hit a 5' lag putt.

I am not complaining. Don't worry for me. Last I checked a forum was an open area for comments and observations. The pin their has gotten the best of me for some reason. I am quite sure the problem is between the keyboard and the floor. I shoot under par all the time on most courses. No doubt the toughest greens are Oakmont.

KIA has quite a few brutal pins. On 2 I always avoid being right of the pin. Even a 5 footer from there is questionable. Anywhere short is an easy little left to right breaker. These places I'm talking about are not from the fairway side looking at the pin. This would be from right over the bunker.

If you're coming in from the fairway after a lay up you want to be right of the pin but not long right.

Whoever mentioned the pin on #5, I agree 100%. That's the hole where I notice the variable "circle" or whatever Icon has called it in the past. The ball never comes off the club the same way there with the same wind same aim when dinged. It's strange. It either stays left of the pin with a slight left to right wind or it flies 15 yrds off line to the right.

haha! Glad I'm not the only one that get in trouble on those two. I'm more then happy to make par on those two.
