New pin location for PB#18?

  Played a CC tournament on PB a week ago and saw it. Normally the pin on 18 would be on the left side toward the ocean but this one is kind of tucked away behind the front bunker on the right side. I feel so stupid not taking a screenshot now. Everyone knows PB only have 1 pin set so where does this one come from?

  Have you been asleep since April 29th when they released the new set of pins @ PB for the Virtual U.S. open?

  @Fobby-go to the VUSO page and start a round from there. Every single pin will be new to you.  ;-)

  Well duh.... I ve never played in the VUSO before. In any cases, will the new pins stay for good or are they special occasions only?

  Yes, that's why you saw the one you saw. They're using them in AS rounds randomly.

  And try the VUSO, I think you'd have fun there.  ;-)

  Well, to be fair, the new pin locations were announced in the release notes and discussed quite a bit at this thread:

  So, one didn't need to play the VUSO to be aware of the new pin locations. All one would need to do is play PB. Even in a solo, ranked round the new pin locations are there.

  This release of new pins for PB has got me wondering. It’s widely known that WGT shot two pin sets for every course in the game; as of right now there are 6 courses with multiple pins: PB, StA, Kiawah, BPB, CCC, Merion. Could it be that this is WGT’s plan going forward: release a new pin set for the remaining 6 courses every year come VUSO qualifying?
