    BolloxInBruges:

Great job running the tournament Lou, it was fun to participate in for he first 4 weeks.   I'm throwing in the towel and will not be playing the remaining weeks.

It was fun. I shall not partake either.

    lvietri:
Again good luck to everyone in the last 3 weeks.   I'll continue to run this to the best of my ability.
Lou , less than your best would still be top notch. Thank you for putting this together and thank you for the hard work you've put into it...very much appreciated. Would be proud to be a part of anything you may host.

I would love to say I'm tossing the hat also. But my honest CC and friends believed that it would not have been cool to accept scores from Sun and I due to the fact we joined right after the games started. And then  this type of thing happens?? Waht? Really?? Great job putting it all together Lou, a shame really

I agree Win. The tournament has been tainted, but lets rise above this and move on everyone. Lou has put the time and effort into organizing this tournament, lets finish it the best way we can. Win or lose, let the chips fall where they may.

    GAME ON!!!

LOL playing today. cross your toes. been hitting 58 to 61 all week in practice so unless the sunday bugs get me it should be helpful...

and her history of posts verifies what she posts here......you guys have time to practice amongst your strong quest for rg creds, mpc creds, and egos in general. Lmao  "the sunday afternoon electra blitz to win"  LOL.   Football anyone?

get a clue, and dont bail little boys

and sorry jeff, but you really surprise me with this childish rhetoric, you know our club.

but also Jeff, great accomplishment and i know you work hard:

The Elite CC is a pretty active cc LB. The most active CC?

Out of  100 members we had 93 members post scores as of TODAY and 95 posted scores as of  yesterday. That is a fairly active CC. A lot of work to get to that point though..lol.

-- wrote this before win1soon posted & chewed over changing it but I'll just post as it is. Understand your decision w1s but have a read anyhow  : Foo --

It's been a fantastic tourney and a great opportunity for us players, as a team, to have a shot at the Dev's. At TECC we've managed to run you pretty close so far and I'm sure we've forced your top players to give it their best game most of the time.

Sadly, as an opportunity to try claim a rare victory over the Dev's team, the contest is over, and I fully respect the reasons and decisions taken by those who have chosen to bow out. It's now a contest with a Dev's team, and there is a significant difference.

Personally, I think the point of principle has been rightly made and the tournament has now changed because of that, and I also hope that other players do not feel the need to withdraw and essentially end a very well organised tourney which has been taken seriously by literally hundreds of committed players from a wide range of CC's, something not seen since the opens.

It just seems wrong that everyone should be penalised because of the (alleged) actions of a couple of players.

Given the situation, I would also  propose that Dev's should now be allowed to include the scores of Suncity28 and Win1Soon ( providing they are happy to participate ) for the rest of the tourney.

In order to be seen to be more than fair , Ivietri chose to exempt these two new players despite the fact that any other club could have, and would have, used the scores.
"You can bring players on and start counting them any time you like.   This is something that as the host club we feel we should do."
As far as I'm concerned the tourney is now different & I whilst don't know Ivietri , I suspect that it'll take other CC owners to publicly back this idea/insist ? , or not , for it to be considered.

    Foo

That's the adult response..."You started it"....I will not entertain you Kurt. You know what has happened. No need for me to "protect" our CC. TC now....
