    Very simple.

If tourn. round is posted "AFTER" a new member has joined the club, the score is valid.

If a Tourn. round was posted "BEFORE" a new member enters the club the score is NOT valid.

The reason is obvious. It would also be unethical and not fair play..AT ALL. Again. Very simple.

Example; Hey LOOK. There's a low 18 Hole Single...let get him / her to join this week. That score will put us over the top... Yeah OK..That's fair.....LOL.

Keep in mind. The scores that would NOT be valid are only for the week prior to their membership. The following weeks would be valid tournament scores.

My opinion: New members may count for every further week, sounds totally fair to me. BUT: Scores should only count if they were played AFTER being a member for the participating country club. Apart from that little discussion, awesome tournament, makes the wgt time really exiting right now!

    Cheers, Hans

I got this info from a friend so I can't say it is 100% accurate. I don't feel like researching it. If it is accurate, am I the only person that feels like this is a blatant attempt at cheating?? Somebody please give me either clarification or justification. This tourney will be no fun with *** like this going on. That being said, It has been a blast so far and very well run as expected.

I'm one of the new members of the Dev's.  Frankly I think that any of us who joined the club after the start of the tournament (the initial start) should not be eligible to post scores.  I know under the terms we have several who would be eligible but I would suggest we leave them out as do the other clubs to insure everything is beyond question.

Ed. With all due respect, as a CC Owner how could you say this..."There was nothing in the rule book!:" It is obviously very unethical and totally unfair competition.

I explained it as easy as possible in my first post.

AGAIN. Keep in mind. These players scores are NOT valid, just for this week, BECAUSE - they posted the 18 Hole Single Play during the week "BEFORE" they were memebrs of your club. It is ludicrous to play in a tournament whereas you can bring in non-memebrs mid-WEEK that have posted extremely low scores BEFORE they were members of a CC and expect those scores to be valid / official tournamnet scores. Give me a break.

If this holds, this tournamnet will be tainted, unfair, unethical, and MOST of all, not enjoyable to say the least.

Keep cool jeff, im sure this will be ruled soon. Of course it was not in the rules. Because its logical, that scores of members of your country club count, and scores of non-members (even if they join later) dont count...

    Cheers, Hans
