No need for me to "protect"

following, now being considered and implication towards our cc:

Week 5 was very close ...  Congrats to Electra who had 2 players step up late Sunday afternoon and shoot career scores to clinch first place for the week.   Deviations was a close second followed by The Elite CC.

LOL playing today. cross your toes. been hitting 58 to 61 all week in practice so unless the sunday bugs get me it should be helpful...

and her history of posts verifies what she posts here......you guys have time to practice amongst your strong quest for rg creds, mpc creds, and egos in general. Lmao  "the sunday afternoon electra blitz to win"  LOL.   Football anyone?

get a clue, and dont bail little boys

and sorry jeff, but you really surprise me with this childish rhetoric, you know our club.

Careful OTE    Remember WGT bans people for stuff like this . And if I recall the CC you were once in kicked you out for behaving like a child .

Kurt  / Edge ... if you guys can please take this conversation somewhere else I would appreciate it.   The tournament is going on as scheduled .. scores are being counted ... and my comments are all written in the spirit of competition .. nothing more.   I am Switzerland.

There is another post going on about this somewhere else .. that might be a good place.

    Thanks ... Lou

The Elite CC is and "has" been ready to move on. An issue concerning the tournament was bought to the fore front. Lou as organizer has made his point perfectly clear. The time has come to step up and move on. Again...Good Luck to everyone in the remaining 3 weeks of this tournament.

to give everyone a chance to play for their club and get involved in a CC wide tournament.  At least it's done that

Absolutely. It's a great concept and should be repeated and copied. At Normans Webb, we are genuinely excited by our modest achievements each week and enjoy the chance to see how far off the pace we are.

It would be nice if it were universally accepted that sport, even virtual sport (for heaven's sake!!), has more important outcomes than winning and losing. It is not all about who has the biggest ... actually, in golf, that's smallest, isn't it :-) ... score.

I also want to report that, at our CC, some people are improving as a result of Lou's concept. I think Lou's concept helps focus the mind on the hardest challenge: the single play 18 hole, measured against the best, when your friends are going to want to know how you went. It provides a sharp focus in the weekly routine of RGs, unlimited plays and whatever.

At Normans Webb, we give an internal award which was won this week by one of our Masters. He was thrilled. He went off to Kiawa for wk 41 at the earliest opportunity and shot a PB 60. I doubt if he'll be a Master for much longer. We are all very excited for him. I would hope, in some small way, that other players in this comp (all around the world!) would be excited for him too.

That's what this particular comp should be, and still is, all about. That is Lou's contribution and achievement.

[BTW, and having seen Kurtsbuford 's post: I have played against JAFO12. Her score comes as absolutely no surprise to me.]

Dev's should now be allowed to include the scores of Suncity28 and Win1Soon

I suspect that it'll take other CC owners to publicly back this idea/insist ? , or not , for it to be considered.

    I support this proposal.

(I'm not the Normans Webb owner, just organising for this comp.)

Luckily I've played with her in a couple of alt shot matches on Oakmont and her putting was the best I've seen anyone putt and that includes Bollox..Priestess...Dansamcam etc....she can live them no problems whatsoever IMHO.

When her putter's on fire she will beat anyone.

The girl can putt as good as any of the best on here and hit drives / approaches just the same.

As for any players deciding not to play the remaining games or storming off in the huff....well it's good enough for John Daly :)

And yes..the Devs should be allowed to include Win1Soon & Suncity's score.

Changed days I guess huh? and totally hilarious at the same time.

Remember that post Sun made "58 AVG looking for a CC" and the flak he took. Dev's stated that in no way would he be allowed into Deviations.

    58 Avg Thread

    Few months later & Viola!
