Many country clubs have long standing members who pass away or retire from electronic game play. To honor these members the clubs decide to continue their membership status.
If WGT were to create one additional country club membership status: that of "Emeritus"; these gone but not forgotten members could be further honored.
As new members join a club, this would make it easy to identify why some members are kept on membership roles but don't play.
Since the clubs would be responsible for deciding who would get "Emeritus" status, WGT would not have to bother with keeping track of deaths or retirements from the game which is exactly what is now happening. The only responsibility that WGT would have is the programming of a new club status beyond "veteran".
WGT: let us honor those among us who have gone on but have made a lasting mark on this game. Allow "Emeritus" status.
