    ScottHope:

Bjorn, if you are still struggling with the installer install, I have uploaded the game files to my Google drive which cuts out the need for the installer.

    Golf DATA

    Golf EXE

The golf data is a folder with 130MB's worth of files in. Click the link to go to my Google drive and click the download all button. Google drive will bundle all the files up into a zip folder and download it to your PC. Double click the downloaded zip folder to unzip it, so that it becomes just a normal folder containing all the files (about 70ish).

Next, click the golf exe link. This is just one file. Once it has downloaded, double click it to run it, and hopefully the game should start.

Each time you want to run the game, you will need to double click golf exe file on your PC.

If you want easy access to the golf exe file, right click the file and select pin to taskbar or start menu, so it's readily accessible.

Thanks a lot Scott, i really appreciate all your help :))) I`m going to download "netframework" from Microsoft also and try again, apparently that needs to be in/on my PC to get it to work.

    Cheers

    Bjorn

Make it so the player can see the hole on the greens when putting with or without the stick in and I might could get used to this.

    Wutpa:
I'm happy something, anything is being done for PC players quite frankly, and that there is something for us to test out ahead of the final switch-over. I don't much like it yet, but I haven't had the chance to tinker with it. The original Flash game took time too.

Spot on, Nigel. There's 15 months to the ostensible end of Flash and I have no doubt what we see then won't be anything near what we're fortunate enough to get a peek at now.

Nothing has changed on the PC version-you can play along like nothing ever happened. However, there's now a link on your desktop to something that will eventually be the way it is. It's a unique opportunity to get a jump on what's to come and the claims of "I ain't...." will soon turn to  "OK, I can handle this." Maybe use it to get your CDP, or something for now. It's going that way and I don't see a suitable substitute so what's to lose?

I found this game when Links started slowing down and now I'm looking at another game when this one dies, sorta. Big advantage being able to eyeball the progress and still have what I know.

Get through the growing pains, we'll all be having it right soon. Consider this a mass beta tester effort. LOL

    @SimontheBeetle

1st of all, I have no idea who you are, we are not in the same country club, what you say has no effect on "anything" I do....I responded to WGT in that post, I didn't even know that "you are the one" that posted so get over yourself!

When I saw your next post I was like WTF is this guy all over me for? Then I figured it out....

Don't even feel sorry for me, I haven't been sick 1 day in my adult life until this BS, I see people in those hospitals who are REALLY sick, feel sorry for them, I'm fine, just a little  off center...

3rd, I remember 1, once, 1 time we were in the same thread and that was about politics/economics years ago....that still bothers you? So you'll have to refresh my memory if there is more

If it helps, I love to mess with foreigners who give the US political advice/opinions, like it matters what they say, he!!  it doesn't matter what we say and were citizens!

OH yeah, I'm "totally" good with my life, I have done very well, my kids have too, and I am set except for this health set back, how about you?...FYI, it looks like a nice guy caring type post you wrote, but the sarcasm is very apparent...nice try though...

When I said I was sorry, I meant it and no sarcasm intended. If it sounded that way to you, let me make sure it wasn't.

And I meant sorry in the sense of too shameful to hear what had happened to you IRL, not pitiful of you.

Yes, I remember that thread years back but honestly, I don't remember anything that went on between you and me in particular. I remember crystal clear what the other guy said in that thread, though. But not you.

I will express myself as I see. If something pleases me, I'll say it. If something doesn't, I'll say it too. I am not a pretentious guy as you think. I've never pretended to be a nice caring type. Yeah, I remember you said the same a couple of years ago. I am not what you think I am.

The bottom line is this. I'm not asking you to like me and you must have your reasons to believe the way you do. Let's put whatever between us behind and move on.

And I'm addressing this to others out there as well. We're all here to enjoy what we like, aren't we? Let us just do that.

    Bye, Dan. Be good!

    Simon

Well, i have tried the ''desktop'' app (thanks Scott), and like everyone i have my thoughts and opinions, but they are quite pessimistic about the actual estate of the app (to be honest),..especially because of the arcade way the game is turning (refered to game modes, apparels, coin rooms and all the rest...)

So i go (for the moment) to encapsulate my thougths in ''one phrase''...

I'm starting to like the clown avatars;  but why won't they be there in the real golf game?

Hi Scott, tried your method and still can't get it to work.

I don't see any download all button, but i dragged up and managed to download them anyway, it then downloads and says it's done but after that i can't find the 17 files anywhere i've looked? Any ideas? TIA.
