Spin Error on Drives

  I said back on page 10 that it started happening around when the burners came out and people think it has to do with the conceide button.   Well Icon tell your brilliant engineers to look back in the news to January and look..... concede and burners came out on that update.  So look at what yall done on that update and fix it and quit  depending on your paying customers to find it for you. enough said

  Wasn't that also about the same time the ads like Dove skin care and the now way too repetitive sharks preferring Steve cause he just ate a Peanut Buttered Snickers? While I've seen a lot more really flat shots I've also seen the no warning about timed out shots also start about the same time. Before you got a second chance and a stroke added for timing out again and that is replaced with a frozen screen with the timer at 00. What if the commercials on the game client before the game have something to do with this? Honestly I wouldn't buy those Snickers and the main reason I wouldn't is because I was anticipating a quicker load to a game I really like to play that add is constantly reminding me of the delay of my said enjoyment. So the add is having a reverse affect on me.

  While we're calling this the No spin glitch also consider that it could be a reverse spin glitch. Even with no spin I think an R11, with high ball flight in the first place, would clear the front chunk of the huge bunker that sticks out on Oakmont #8. Although I was on the team that basically won a very close game when our opponent hit there, this was after we had already hit our first shot, which makes me think the no concede would have to affect both tee shots or not be the root of the problem at all.

  Seeing some of these results and others that just leaves you scratching your head and is very disheartening. Often I think of it as a kids game following the really off the wall shots. But these aren't only tee shots. Even a putt I've hit at the right edge of cup at #7 bpb I normally aim for a little break left cause I wasn't at all hole high. More like along the line from a shot that barely reached the front edge of the green safely between the two traps. So I have the cursor at the right edge of the cup, it's uphill so I expect a little less break but instead of clicking just after the bell as i hoped to I clicked early fully expecting to miss the hole left. That putt rolled straight as a ruler right by and to the right of the hole. Not a variance, more like a reversal. Go figure.

  Played in multi last night. Bug still there after I conceded a putt.

  With it happening more often with a concede supposedly that's still not a way with which they can reproduce exactly what causes it I'm guessing would be the reply. Maybe fixing the tees flying up on fairway shots, tees not flying up on tee shots, the extra ball left on greens after the player times out, having the concede putt option showing on the next drive, etc would be a start towards fixing this.

  It's strange that they can come out with Nike balls and new clubs but they would have to put all these errors in with the new stuff making the fixes even harder to fix.

  Had the spin bug yesterday for the first time. Never heard of it before and I would have noticed if this had happened to me in a singles round or RG.

  Playing Alt shot for the first time in ages, normally just whacking the thing round on singles. Seems a big coincidence that It suddenly happened to me the first time I play MP Alt for a while.

  Beth#4 T shot , with 10mph tailwind didn't carry the bunker !

  My partner  hit a similar drive a couple of holes later which luckily enough ended up ok but we stopped conceding puts at that point &  it didn't happen again.

  Proves nothing of course but adds some weight to the multiplayer , MP , conceded putts, bug probabilities.

  I'm not really big on words or talking a lot about computer games, but I have noticed this prob a few times. Something that helps me out is every time b4 i swing is a practice swing. If i notice any lag what so ever I just do a practice swing then let er rip after. It's just lag ppl...

  Happens after a concede hole too. Happened on BP #3 to my partner after opponents conceded hole #2. Also happened to me on my tee ball trying to carry to the fairway on #6 after they conceded a putt. I knew it was coming and aimed more up the hill but it still didn't help.

  It is definitely  happening after a conceded putt., and it happens more with a par 3 next. The 1st guy up will get no spin and the ball travels at least 15 yrds further because he thought he put backspin on it.. I have seen it 4 times in alt shot this week.It also happens on the tee with the driver but most people don't notice unless they are putting full back to get height to clear bunkers.....you sure will notice then when your ball comes out only slightly higher than a punched driver and does not clear the bunker.! IT IS 100% because of the conceded putt on the hole before! You need to make your test in an alt shot game WGT. This is ruining alt shot play!
