Spin Error on Drives

  Okay, back on topic, working on BiB and Birdwell's 'Conceding putts causes next  tee shot  to think we're trying to add spin to putter'  theory, played a few games without conceding a putt. Zero spin glitches. Accidentally conceded one and next tee shot on CCC #10 got a spin glitch.

  This is not definitive I know, but can everyone try this and report if No Spin Glitch is caused by  conceding putts?

  I'd like to add that I'm not convinced that the bug occurs in Single play ever. So many Stroke Rounds and Skins games and not a single Glitch Drive for me, and no replay to show. But I maybe wrong about this.

  That's my thinking too. One train of thought is it happens when you move spin too fast and then click to drive. If you become a little more deliberate, maybe it will fix itself? Could you try that and then see if it helps? -wgticon

  come on icon its a bug in yor game i know u are not the big *boss* we have give all we can!! geting sick of this spin error  now! i dont need new clubs or new balls fix this fk spin error ffs!!!:)

  By no conceding putts you mean

  1. You click "no" when asked to concede or not
  2. You don't click at all and let the other player do its putt

  You let the player take the putt. Doesn't matter if you click No.

  Well since the post written by Birdwell, I tried to pay attention to that and clearly I got spin glitch even after the opponent did his putt (match play).

  I will try to have a closer look at this (don't play much match play).

  No, you haven't called anyone names, but you have dug up this thread several times to basically "call out" Icon. Maybe "stalker" would have been a better word choice instead of bully.

  I think what you do not realize  is that you have basically taken a dispute that should have been easily resolved privately, and made it public in a way that just makes it look like like an attack. To me this makes your motives for posting here look suspect. And, unfortunately invalidates much of what you might say on this issue.

  I could care less about backspin glitch.

  They should delete the code of the random speed meter from this game.

  7 or 8 holes all the meter speed is the same speed.....the other 1 or 2 holes....random faster speeds get chucked in to mess up the round...and usually sweeps through after you've hit just to make sure the ball flies way off course making it lucky to par the hole.

  A lot more destructive to a round than an odd bs glitch.

  Probably bs glitch & rocket meter are just part of the deal which sux.

  We pay our $$$ to play so just leave the game alone instead of messing with everything from our clubs to the imbecile meter.

  There's a new online golf site due out which is meant to have decent graphics....so WGT really needs to take notice of it's members or else many will either leave or divide their time between sites.

  I've landed in bunkers a few times due to the spin not giving me loft,always in matchplay challenge's i dont think its ever happened in a ready go.

  They should also sort out the glitch with caddy that we've mentioned millions of times to no avail, sick of teeing off from cabo #17 for example, i scroll from 195 iron to 180, give full back spin and a touch under full power only for the ball to fly 195 yards, meaning the shot was taken with 195 iron not the 180 i had scrolled to.  This has also happened on 18th at st andy's when i scrolled from 80 wedge to 60, but i passed 60 and landed on driver, i scrolled back to 60 wedge saw it in my hand, only for the shot to be taken with my DRIVER!..lol

  Chris, TBE, I understand the glitches you guys have. I get those ones too. But can we stick to the No Spin Glitch on this one post at least? A couple of more days of playing without conceding putts, and I haven't experienced a single glitch. Genorb thinks it's not the cause, but does anybody else have anything constructive to say?

  I too have been expirementing with this theory and have still seen some problems with it. It seems to get better but still see the odd spin glitch. One thing i have tried is not going all the way to the ful BS .....going just above the bottom of the ball and have not had a single problem this way. Maybe the spot being positioned in the full BS at the bottom is the problem sometimes.

  If anyone else has tried this let us know....seems to work for me so far.
